Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Jake Peralta's Past.

Chapter 1.

An hour late, Jake was. When he finally walked into the office, looking exhausted he was met with a worried Boyle, Amy, Terry, and Gina.

"Jake!" Boyle shouted, when he saw the said Man step into the office. Boyle runs upto him and hugs him.

"Jake, where were you?" Amy asked, as Jake pulled Boyle off of him, putting on e fake smirk.

"Awe, Amy Santiago were worried about me! How sweat." Jake said, sitting down in his office chair, "And for you're imformation, I was late because... my car broke down!"

"Wow, what a lie." Rosa said sarcastically, as Jake just smirked and turned round in his chair.

"Peralta!" Holt shouted from his office, as Jake brought his head up, "Get in here!"

"What did I do?" Jake muttered, while standing and walking into the Captain's office, "Yes, Sir?"

"I just wanted to know why you were an hour late!" Holt shouted.

"Sorry Sir. My car broke down." Jake said.

"Fine. I'll let you of this once! Now, I have a case for you to solve. With Amy Santiago, and Gina Diaz." Holt said, pushing a file towards Jake, who picked it up, he then nodded, and exited the office withou another word said.

Jake walked upto Amy's desk and dropped the file infront of her, as she picked it up.

"What's this?" Amy asked.

"A case, Captain set out for us. A guy was killed. Just, 4 blocks away." Jake said.

"Cool, let's go check it out." Amy said, exiting the building with Jake following.

(After they checked the building out, they were back at the police department.)

Jake walked back into the building with Amy at his side. Amy sat at her desk, while Jake sat on the seat beside her desk, with the file in his hands on the case. As, his phone rang for the like 100th time since they were out.

"You gonna answer that?" Amy asked, as Jake looked upto her, "You're phone. That's like the 100th it rang since you came into work 3 hours ago."

"Uh, nah. They can wait." Jake said, as Jake's work phone on his desk suddenly rang, "That's weird. That phone never rings."

Jake moved to sit in his desk chair, as he pulledt he phone off of the hook and upto his ear.

"Hello?" Jake questioned.

"Jake! Why aren't you answering you're phone?" Jake sighed, as he leaned his head back. He leaned over his desk, his head in his hand, as he searched for an excuse, but got nothing.

"Hey, uhm, person." Jake said, "Okay. Why are you ringing my work phone!? How did you even gets its number!"

"I have my ways. Now, you better never ignore my calls again." The person on the other side threatned.

"Yeah, yeah. I know. And, I won't!" Jake muttered angerly, "Bye."

"Don't you hang up--!" Jake slammed the phone back onto its hook, knowing he will definatly be in touble later.

"Everything okay?" Amy spoke up, as Jake nodded and took the file of the Case he was working on and flipped it open.

"Search up all possible suspects to this. Like, who was on the crime scene." Jake said, as Amy nodded and started typing on her computer, "It looks like this Victim was stabbed. But, it has this weird... spiral of some sort?"

"Spiral? What about a spiral?" Doyle asked.

"About a Case were working on." Amy said, as Gina also walked on over, while Terry looked up from his work.

"Peralta!" Captain shouted, while walking through the gate what was next to the exit. He walked on over to the desk, where Jake, Amy, Rosa, Doyle, and Terry all were. Jake had looked up from the file and upto the Captain.

"Yes Captain?" Jake said.

"Somebody's been requesting for you to answer you're phone." Captain said, as Jake groaned, "They called me."

"They did!?" Jake asked, groaning as his work phone on the desk blared through the office. He picked up the phone, "What do you want!"

"For you to never speak to me like that again." Came that same dark voice, as Jake sighed.

"Okay you're Magesty!" Jake muttered, but he was being sarcastic, which the person on the other side of the phone caught on.

"You respect me! It's not the other way round. Because, I do not respect you what so ever! And, you are probally a trash detective." The person said, as Jake just nodded. He sighed, and closed his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Now, can I go and carry on with my work? Before the Captain has my head would be great." Jake said.

"Well, it would be amazing if the Captain did have you're head! It would be better for everybody." Jake then just sighed, and hung up the phone, he picked the file back up and started reading it again, "Wrong number."

"Wrong number?" Gina scoffed, "You are hiding something Jake Peralta."

Gina then walked away, while Jake just shrugged.

"Hey, we've got a lead." Amy said, as Jake looked over Amy's shoulder, "He's the Victims neighbor."

"Great. Now, Boyle!" Jake said, pointing at said Guy, "Could you go down to the Victims neighbor with Amy and question him? Great. Thanks. Now, Captain!"

Jake walked into the Captain's office, as he looked upto him.

"Could I please go? I need to do something." Jake said, as Holt thought it was quite weird for Jake to beg to go home, since he would always stay until his shift was over, so he just nodded, "Thanks."

Jake then exited the office, grabbing his jacket he also exited the building, leaving, Amy, and Terry confused as they both shared the same glance, before watching as Captain Holt was watching Jake leave from the door way?

"Uhm, Captain, where is Jake going?" Terry asked, as Holt looked at him.

"Santiago, Terry, my office." Holt said, backing up into his office, as Amy and Terry also went into the office, shutting the door and taking a seat opposite the Captain.

"I believe Peralta is hiding something." Captain said, as Terry and Amy nodded, "So, I want you two to keep an eye on him. And, track that phone call he had."

"I'll get Boyle to do that. He's good at that kind of thing." Amy said, standing while Terry followed. The two exiting the room, only to think if something was seriously wrong with there friend.
