Born on French soil and raised on the Californian plains, Dahlia is a beautiful young woman full of confidence, helping her father to raise horses on the family estate. However, the peace of the little family is quickly disturbed : her father leaves to never return, her mother falls seriously ill and Dahlia barely escapes death.
Being left to her own devices, Dahlia decides to follow in the footsteps of her father and to go looking for him with an old map he left her.
Probably hoping to regain the little of her old life, she will travel the American continent, make good as bad encounters, and learn at her expense that the world is much more dangerous than it seems.
