Storm woke up before his friend, Jared, so that he could sneak away without having to talk about why he was there in the first place. Storm walked in the early morning breeze, till his eyes were captured by a shiny necklace. When he stepped closer, he picked up an hourglass necklace. He admired the sand inside and it reminded him of the girl he had bumped into the day before. He thought of how pretty she was. Storm wanted to see her again, he had to see her again. He stuffed the necklace in his pocket hoping it would bring them the luck of seeing the girl again.
Storm walked around until the sun was rising. As hunger was eating away from him, he found a small Cafe where he could eat, called The Kitten Cafe. That was a weird name for a Cafe. He walked into the Cafe and saw a girl crying, he was going to walk over and ask if she was okay but then he saw her. It was Skye sitting across from the crying girl. Storm walked over.
"Hey, is everything okay over here?"
"Oh, hey Storm."
Skye looked surprised to see Storm.
"It's okay, I'm just trying to become friends with her, her parents said it would be good for her to have a friend. Her name is Cleo."
"Oh well hello, Cleo. Nice to meet you."
"Um, hi."
Cleo stuttered. Storm looked at Cleo in a weird way when he saw the huge cut on her hand. He couldn't take his gaze off her hand. Once Cleo noticed that Storm was looking at her she quickly pulled her sleeve down over her hand. Storm felt bad after she did that because it was wrong of him to stare at her hand. Cleo kept weirdly looking at Storm almost as if she wanted him. Storm pulled a chair over next to where Sky was sitting and he sat down.
"So is there any way I can help?"
"Well not really but if you want to stay and be her friend as well, it's fine with me but you would have to ask Cleo."
Sky offered.
"Well Cleo, is that okay with you?"
Cleo looked blankly at Storm and rolled her eyes.
"Whatever."
"So I'll take that as a yes."
They all were silent for a while then finally Cleo spoke up.
"This is sorta getting awkward."
"She's not wrong, it is kind of awkward sitting here in silence."
Sky added
"Yeah, your right."
Storm looked around the Cafe, he looked at the menu and his stomach churned. He stood up and looked down at the two girls.
"I'm going to go get something to eat, do you guys want anything?"
"Oh if you don't mind can I have a frappuccino?"
Sky asked.
"Do you want anything Cleo?"
Storm asked. Cleo just sat there in silence, so Storm took that as a no and walked up to the counter and paid for the things. After a while, they decided to meet up at the park at 4:00 on Monday. After Sky left Storm asked Cleo if he could talk to her and Cleo agreed. They found a seat on a bench near the local town center.
"Thanks for taking the time to talk to me, Cleo."
"Whatever."
Cleo rolled her eyes. Storm pulled the hourglass necklace out of his pocket and showed it to Cleo.
"Do you think Sky would like it?"
Cleo admired the hourglass. Cleo wanted the hourglass for herself, but she knew she couldn't have it for he was going to give it to Sky. The thought of him being around Sky made her envious, but Cleo wasn't sure why.
"Yes, I think she would love it."
"You think so?"
Storm asked.
"Yes, you should give it to her."
"Okay then, I will! Thanks, Cleo!"
He yelled as he walked away. Cleo slowly got up and walked home. Storm decided he was going to stop by Sky's house so that he could tell her good night. Storm ran faster and faster as if he couldn't wait to see her. It felt almost as if something was pulling him towards her.As Cleo was walking home she couldn't stop thinking about the hourglass, she wanted it for herself. She hated the fact that Storm wanted to give it to Sky because she wanted him to love her, not that fake bitch. Cleo wanted that hourglass. She felt like she needed to have it as if the hourglass was calling out to her. Cleo would sit on her bed, and devise a plan to take it.
