Following a costly victory on Planet Malastare, Chancellor Palpatine had ordered Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu to transport a fearsome Zillo Beast captured during the battle to a lab on Coruscant to be studied. After seeing that not even a lightsaber could harm the beast, Chancellor Palpatine hopes to unlock the secret to its invulnerability to create new armor for the Republic's clone troopers.

But not everyone agreed with the Chancellor's idea, especially not a certain young princess or her trusty musicorn.

Being from Mythiria and having served as a royal guard for Equinaro, Carousella had grown up meeting lots of different creatures, some stronger than others. But, the strongest of all were the dragons. No spell could harm them. Only an extremely rare metal called adracium has ever been known to be strong enough to pierce a dragon's skin, burning them on contact.

Gabby, on the other hand, had other reasons for her hesitation. Even though she was initially terrified of the creature at first, she didn't want to see it harmed. She'd also seen films with scientists doing scary and painful looking experiments on aliens and other creatures. If the lab was doing anything like what happened in those films, Gabby wanted to do what she could to help the creature.

Many clone troopers came and readied their weapons as the Zillo Beast was levitated out of the ship on a large floating platform. The chancellor came to see the creature for himself.

A gunship arrived with Jedi Knights Windu and Skywalker, as well as Gabby.

"Your Excellency," said Anakin with a slight bow as he and Mace approached the Chancellor.

"Such size...such power..." smiled the Chancellor.

"With respect Chancellor," said Mace. "I believe this creature could pose any number of dangers. Bringing it here to Coruscant is a mistake."

"Oh, I assure you, I did not make this decision lightly, Master Jedi." The chancellor said. "The sooner we unlock the Zillo Beast's secrets, the sooner we can end this terrible war."

"I hope you're right Chancellor." Mace said before approaching Dr. Boll. "I'm turning the Zillo Beast over to you, Doctor. I trust it will be given good care."

"The beast is a priceless resource, Master Windu." said the doctor. "It will be well treated, I assure you."

Gabby got off from Carousella and walked closer to the creature, and made a cloud go up as she held her hand out to the creature. It was still asleep and fairly calm. The little girl approached very calmly as she would with a horse, knowing this creature might be able to sense fear, and she managed to gently pet the creature on where she assumed its nose was.

"Gabby, get down from there!" Anakin exclaimed. After the last encounter with the Zillo Beast, Anakin did not want to chance his daughter getting anywhere near it and being the beast's next snack, if she could even qualify as that. Given how small she was, she would be more like a fun sized piece of candy to the Zillo Beast.

"He wasn't hurting me," said Gabby.

"Only because I didn't give him the chance to," said Anakin. "You are not to be anywhere near that thing, you understand?"

Gabby sighed and reluctantly said yes as her father took her onto the ship to head back to the Temple. But she looked over Anakin's shoulder as the beast was transported indoors. She had a bad feeling about this.

Mace later stood with Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Council Chambers and explained to him how the Chancellor had them transport the Zillo Beast to Coruscant.

"Why would the Chancellor want to bring the beast here?" Obi-Wan asked. "I know that he thinks by studying it the knowledge could prove beneficial, but from what you and Anakin reported on Malastare it hardly seems worth the effort."
