interviewer: welcome sumi! so today, you've had a photoshoot for knight magazine, how are you feeling?
sumi: thank you! if i'm being honest, i was very skeptical about it when i first saw what i'd be wearing, but i ended up actually... liking it? maybe it was just that the dress was much more comfortable than dresses i've had to wear in the past.
i: yes, you are known for not being too fond of dresses.
s: yeah, but i may have developed a liking for that one specific dress.
i: lucky dress! so, putting aside the photos for now, we wanted to ask you a few questions regarding your taste in music.
s: i'm all for it - i love talking about music.
i: good! so first question - what song do you listen to to put you in a good mood?
s: hmmm... well, i do have a few songs i like to listen to when i'm looking for a more upbeat vibe... can i say all of them?
i: of course!
s: well the first one i'd say is aurora by ateez. i just... i love the beat, and it's such a bright and upbeat song - it always puts me in a good mood. anther one would have to be bbusyeo by oneus. and... there are so many i'm not sure if i can name them all.
i: you can name as many as you want!
s: okay... rapid shots. runaway by pentagon, thanks by seventeen, our summer by txt, all night by astro- and i'll save whoever's typing this by leaving it at that. but trust me, there are more.
i: next question - what's a song people wouldn't expect you to love, but you do?
s: oh! i actually think i have a good answer for this... maybe. two of my favourite songs are by rock bands! i just feel like i don't really seem like the type to like rock songs - not sure why, just my own perception of myself i guess - but i basically breathe these songs. aurora by onewe and strawberry cake by xdinary heroes, you should give them a listen.
i: what are ten songs, none of your own, that you recommend to your fans?
s: only ten? um... oh this is hard. butterfly by p1harmony is actually my favourite songs right now, so that's obviously up there. i'll just name others off the top of my head - the mist by ateez, love me or leave me by day6, tick tock by just b, inferno by kard, crush by mcnd, who by moonbin and sanha of astro, lit by oneus, rpm by sf9, and puma by txt.
i: what's the most recent song you've added to your playlist?
s: most recently was oneus' new song full moon!
i: are there any recently debuted artists you recommend?
s: tnx is a new boy group who i've recently noticed, they didn't debut too long ago i think. their music is really good - especially 180sec. i can really see them going somewhere.
