Trents pov:
As me and zara walk the streets of this wonderful city my phone starts vibrating in my pocket. I get my phone out and see my mums calling i knew i owed her a visit as she and my dad just came back from their few nights away to London. "Sorry zara, its my mum, i have to answer or she'll  whip me or something" i giggle as she laughs in response. Zara walked to look over the edge of the river while i sit on a bench answering the phone.

Zaras pov:
As i look over at the beautiful mersey river glistening in front of me as Trent phone call could be heard in the close distance only hearing his side of the conversation. "Ill have to ask but i dont wanna put too much pressure on her mum." I heard Trent say firmly. "I'm sure she does but this might be a bit overwhelming for her right now." "Alright ill ask and text you her answer." "Alright bye,  bye". He walks back over to me and leans on the railing overlooking the water. "You alright?" I ask looking over at the boy standing next to me. "Yeah, it was just my mum asking if we wanted to go to dinner at theirs." "I said I'd have to ask you but dont feel like you need to, i dont mind."  He replied. "Hey we can go,i dont mind. Plus i miss Tyler and marcel and i wanna meet your parents." I smiled. "Positive?" He looked at me sternly. "Positive." I smiled. "Ok, ill text mum" he smiled back.

A few hours later...

Trents pov:
"You ready to go love?" I said looking over at her. "Yes gorgeous" she smiled back. We got in the car and  headed back to my house. As we stood in front of the door,I looked over at zara looking at the floor in a sad sort of way. "What's wrong?" I said putting my arm on her shoulder. "Your parents. What if they don't like me?". She said sadly. "Oh zara, the never stop going on about how much they wanna meet you! Plus mum watched all of the Liverpool women games." I chuckled. Suddenly Tyler opened the door "guys come in mums been going on about how excited she is and you've been standing out here for like 10 minutes!" He said turning round to walk back inside. Me and Zara laughed and followed him inside. "Hi!" Mum almost shouted, engulfing zara in a hug. "You're gorgeous zara!" . "Thank you so much" zara replied with a warm smile. "Come sit down you two! We have a lot of catching up to do!"mum said gesturing us to sit down. The table consisted of zara, mum, dad, marcel,Tyler and of course myself."so zara, what's it like playing for the Liverpool women?" Dad said. "Oh it's great! I've met so many fantastic people and it's the club of my dreams." Zara replied. "You seem very passionate" mum smiled. "What about all the hate? How do you not let it get to you?" Tyler asked. "Well that's the only bad part of it all, people say some really messed up shit and well it definitely took a toll on my mental health when I first started playing. And it still does to be honest, I just don't tell anyone. Like I get death threats everyday and people saying I don't deserve what I have and that I'm a shit footballer and stuff." Zara replied with a sad smile. "Aww I'm sorry honey" mum replied. We had a few more discussions but before we knew it dinner was over and it was time to go to bed. Zara and I decided to stay here together for the night.

Authors note:
Sorry this didn't get out sooner, this week was the first week back at school so super stressful and tiring and haven't had the motivation to write. Hopefully this next week I can sort out my sleep schedule and find time to write more. Thank you xx
