I got a letter from Xiao a few days ago saying that he wanted to tell me something in person, which made me slightly confused.

As I teleported with those waypoints I rarely use nowadays since I don't want anyone to see me just appear out of nowhere, walking to the first elevator and went to talk to Verr Goldet (I think that's her name-)

"Traveler we meet again!" Verr Goldet said as she noticed me walk in "It's nice seeing you again Verr Goldet" I then replied to her "You look slightly different.. Ah who nows, are you here to book a room?" She added as I thought if I should "No I'm good and I'll get going now so it was nice talking to you!" I said going upstairs to meet Xiao wondering if he was there.

As expected he was here. "Youre a little late." Xiao spoke with a slightly angry tone "sorry I was doing commissions at Inazuma, heh.." I replied to with a warm smile as he turned back to see me, but his eyes widened?

"What happened to you!?" Xiao said as he grabbed Aether's arm to find a lot of bruises "that- I was fighting a mirror maiden from Inazuma but she was easy to kill." Aether replied to Xiao with a small laugh (ngl they're easy)

"How could you be so careless? Come with me." Xiao coldly dragged Aether to his room and put him on his bed "Whoa Xiao it's alright- it's not like it hur- OW" Aether repelled, getting cut off by Xiao poking him around that place. "lying is gonna get you nowhere you foolish mortal" Xiao added but then started kissing around Aether's bruise.

"X-Xiao what are you doing!" Aether flusteredly asked with his face really red "don't tell me you forgot our promise before you shortly left for Inazuma?" Xiao replied with a frown written on his face.

𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌

"You need to stop getting yourself hurt." Xiao declared in a loud voice talking to Aether seeing him covering in scars and bruises "it's alright Xiao! Barbara was with me so it's getting healed, for now" Aether responded with a warm smile making the older yet shorter male blush and look away.

"Xiao do you have a fever?" Aether asked densely (like me) as he got closer to Xiao "what? Me having a fever? That only exists in dreams." Xiao said with an annoying tone and pushed the younger male next to him.

"How about we make a promise?" Xiao then added with a smirk written in his face. "Sure I guess, how bad can promises be" Aether blurted not knowing the embarrassment that is waiting for him in the future "If you get hurt in any way, I'll kiss you around that place"

𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌

"Ah that.." Aether added after remember the promise with his face in many shades of red "I'm glad that you remember and is that scar near your mouth?" Xiao purred with a smirk "That mirror maiden did give me a scar in the face" the blonde said also not knowing what could go wrong (if anyone calls me a disappointment for making Aether dense, please don't tell me something I already know).

Xiao kissed Aether on his lips, Aether froze but shortly kissed back, moving his arms on the older (YET SHORTER) male's shoulders. Xiao softly bit Aether's lower lip making the gasp as he slid his tongue in the others mouth but sadly, he tried pushing him away for air and successfully did that.

"W-why did you do that.." Aether asked panting "Can't you see what I'm doing? I'm in love with you idiot." Xiao answered leaving the other blush and mumble something.

"Could you say that aga—" "I love you too!" Aether cut off Xiao by accepting his feelings while facing him with tears making their way to his chin.

Xiao slightly smiled and hugged Aether while the other hugged back.
