Ryomen is part of the Sukuna family, a well respected and powerful clan in Japan. It was up there with the Zenin and Gojo clans.
They were known for their key and most powerful abilities:
- the Slice and dice one
- ⬛️
These abilities are desired by ever parent of the family for their children, the family of Ryomen already had two kids before him, a boy and a girl.
The boy had no curse energy or technique while the girl had the ability to look into the future.
However the catch is that she can only look into atleast 500 years from now so she was basically "useless" to the clan leaders.
It was always said, that when a child would be born with one of the techniques, that there would be certain signs leading up to its birth, which were all there in Ryomens case.
The rumours made their rounds quickly in the clan, and everyone was excited about an hair finally having these techniques again, as it has been quite some time since the last user.
The only one who wasn't so thrilled about this was Ry's older brother as he wanted to be the one with the techniques. He was known to be egotistical and wanted to impress them, with all he had which never worked.
His sister on the other hand was thrilled to have another brother.
When it came to Ryomens birth, everything went smoothly. The whole clan was present as it was a special occasion for them, however the first problems started to arise once he was born.
The sayings said that the child of the special techniques would be blessed upon birth with curse marks wrapped around its body.
Ryomen however.
Was born without these curse marks.
