                               Colette's POV
My phone started ringing. I knew it was Nyxon because of the ringtone.

"C-call him."

I heard my sister on the phone with Nyxon. My eyes shut. I heard sirens and felt myself being picked up. I opened my eyes and saw, I was on a stretcher.

"COLEY?!"

I looked to my right. I saw Nyxon running towards me. I put my hand out. He grabbed it.

"D-don't leave me."

"I won't! I'm not going to!"

I got put in the back of the ambulance. Nyxon jumped in. He pressed our foreheads together. I started crying.

"I've got you. I'm right here. I love you."

I smiled.

"I-I love you too."

"You're gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay."

My eyes shut. I heard myself flatline. I felt my heart stop.

"Colette?! Cole?!"

I woke up in a hospital room. After I was discharged, my mom sent me to live with my fucking cousin. Now it's been fucking 2 years since, I've seen Nyxon.

"I'M GOING HOME! THIS IS BULLSHIT! ANA YOU CAN'T FUCKING KEEP ME HERE!"

"YES I CAN! YOUR MOTHER SENT YOU TO LIVE WITH ME FOR A REASON!"

"I WANT TO SEE MY GODDAMN BOYFRIEND! WHY WON'T YOU FUCKIN LET ME SEE HIM?!"

                                 Nyxon's POV
I am fucking miserable. I hate this shit. I have no idea where she fucking is. Only being able to talk to her, kills me. I can't hug her. I can't fuckin kiss her. I can't fucking do ANYTHING!

Okay I've had enough.

I got in my car and drove to her brother's house. I ran up to the front door. I started pounding on it. Kyle opened the door.

"Where the FUCK is she?!"

"S-she's in California."

"Where in California?!"

"Look I'm not even supposed to be telling you this."

"What's the address?"

"I-I can't tell you. My mom would kill me."

My hands balled into fists. I clenched my jaw.

"Please just fucking tell me!" I said as my voice cracked.

"You really love her, don't you?"

I nodded.

"I'm five fucking seconds away from decking you."

"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you!"

He told me the address.

"Thank you. I'm sorry."

I ran back to my car.

"Wait! You can't go there!"

"Why?!"

I ran back up to the door.

"She's not allowed to see you."

My heart cracked.

"What?!"

"Our cousin...she's convinced this was your fault."

"B-but I-I'd never do something like that!"

He sighed.

"I know. I've been trying to get her to change her mind but, nothing's working."

I drove home while crying. I have my own house now and I hate living in it. It's so fucking quiet. The only things I hear are, me, the tv, the water in the sink and shower, and my dog. Oh yeah. I'm lonely as hell so I got a dog. Her name is "Winter". The name seemed fitting since, I found her in the winter. I heard something whimpering and opened my front door. She was covered in snow. I picked her up and brought her into my bathroom. I turned on the shower to try and warm her up.

Once she was warm, I brought her to the vet. They said she's 1 so she's technically a puppy still. When I get home from work, she runs right up to me.

"Hey girl."

I picked her up.

"I still don't have her. My birthday's tomorrow. I'm gonna be fucking 20. Hey do you think...I could start drinking now? I know I'm not 21 but...oh god. What am I even saying?"
