Last Fantasy, Last Secret. Chapter 09:

I Am Not The One.

(Taehyung singing "Gone" in this chapter, lol)

02/11/22.

Early in the morning, Jungkook thought that it would finally be a calm day but then he knew it wouldn't be possible when the coach called him at his office with the words: "I need to talk to you."

"Are you okay?" Was the older's question, looking for something inside the buckets of the desk once the door was closed.

"I guess so, why?"

"You look a bit pale."

"I feel like you're going to give me bad news." Jungkook sobbed the back of his head, unquiet.

They have knew each other for about three or four years at the time, and they were comfortable enough with each other to say anything and in front of whoever. That's why Jungkook was anxious, what does he need to tell him that has to be "in private"?

"Then relax, 'cause you're wrong."

He sighed instantly, like a punctured balloon.

Then why did he make those expressions?! It made him think it was something bad.

The man preceded to take seat behind the desk of the office, while Jungkook did it in the chair across this one.

"How is your shoulder?"

Calm left the chat.

The calm that he delivered to the boy when he said 'then relax, cause you're wrong' was taken off, stolen from him, the moment he mentioned his shoulder.

He was wordless.

"My... M-my shoulder you say?"

"Yes. Your injury, how is it?"

Jungkook felt like he was the biggest fool on earth.

He knew it? His coach knew it all this time?

"What?" The man raised his eyebrows, looking at the shocked guy. "What is that face?"

"Did you know, coach-nim?"

"Your injury?" He looked at the boy like he was joking.

"Of course, I know, Jungkook. How do you think that I wouldn't?"

"B-but... I didn't... I didn't tell anybody."

"You thought I didn't know? Please, Jungkook! I'm not stupid! You're my most important player, do you think I don't look out for you?"

He really was the biggest fool.

But then...

"Why didn't you stop me then? I mean... The training, and the incoming match. Why don't you... stop me?"

The coach fixed his gaze on the boy, not as serious as before, more like... thoughtful.

"First tell me how is it, what's the condition?"

"It's better."

"Better like... better to play! or better like it hurt less."

None of them actually.
