The documents you are about to read had once been kept in the third-tier filing cabinet of the administration offices at Brighter Alternatives Academy, located on 23 Kennedy Rd, Hannaford North, Port Bradley. After a series of unfortunate misadventures, occurring on the night of the inaugural 'Brighter Founding Day Dance', they were stolen from the school and never found again.
These documents contain the enrolment forms, student profiles and academic contracts of the following Brighter Alternatives students: Mr. Miguel Alonzo, Mr. Tristan Baker, Ms. Maddison Clarke, Mr. Oliver Harrington II, Ms. Blondie [redacted] Shu and Ms. Sienna Stone.
An internal investigation into the theft is underway. If found, please return these confidential documents to the school office immediately.

I hereby commit to the following learning and personal development goals throughout my time at Brighter Alternatives Academy, which are written here in my own words. I have drafted and signed these learning goals with guidance from my Learning Co-ordinator (Laura Kraus). Towards the end of my schooling period, I will review my goals and reflect on whether I have achieved them:
"I want to finish school and get a diploma, so I can start applying for colleges... I don't really know what else to write in this section, but Ms. Kraus wants me to keep writing. I also want to make new friends, I guess."
"I want to apply for college so I can get into med school. Or law school. Except I don't really understand how all of that works yet in this country. I want to understand this place and these people."
"Okay, should I keep writing? Fine. This is so embarrassing. More holistically speaking, by the end of my time here I want to have belonged to something bigger than myself. I want to finally feel like I'm my own person, instead of being the person my parents wanted as their child instead. I don't want to disappoint them more than I already have."
