Chapter 3

As the Mutated demon's head was slashed by Tanjirou Kamado, tye head lands on tye ground and rolls down a small hill. As his head tops, he witness his body slowly turn to ash

"No! No! No! My body's falling apart and disappearing, and I can't stop it!"

He then saw Tanjirou standing in front of him with his back turned, then Misaki landed on tye ground and watches the body, disappearing.

After Tanjirou placed his sword back into the scabbard, the demon growls at tye two "Damn it. The faces of these demon slayers is the last thing I'm ever going to see.

When Tanjirou turned to the demon, tye mutated demon eyes widen and looked surprised. Tye boy looked at him with pity and felt sorry

"I never would have thought it'd come to this."

Misaki faced at tye demon with a soft smile and her eyes closed. She then looked over at the remains of the Demon, which was his hand

Before Tanjirou could walk over to the hand, Misaki was already there. She gently held his hand into hers. It slowly held on hers back

She then pressed her forehead on against his hand as she said softly "dear God, may his soul be blessed, and reunited with the people he lost, please let him reborn to place so bright, no darkness"

Tye demon slowly tears up as his head was turning to ash.

Tanjirou saw what she did and was surprised and amazed by her.

He felt a presence he turned around and saw a scene of thick fog but as it clears up, revealing many slayers that had tye same mask that Urokodaki made for him, tye ones that were murdered

'Sabito, Makomo and all the others whose lives were taken by this demon....it's over. You can rest now.'

They all started walking away as they understand that they can rest in peace.

'Finally you're going home as promised, back to Mount Sagiri if only as souls. You're going back to Urokodaki. If I had failed, that's where my soul would have gone, too.'

As Tanjirou was till in his thoughts, looking up in the sky.

Misaki spoke up "Hello"

He jumped a bit and looked over

"I can see that you feel bad for tye demon, he was once human and now he can rest and go somewhere safe." She smiled softly as she tuvks a bit of her hair behind her ear

"Uhhh yeah, his scent was filled with sadness" he spoke as he looked at her

She nods "he can rest easy now, but now we should head off we are still the trial and we don't want to waste time"

"You're right, I guess we part ways here now"

"We do but from what I see, I know you can make it and pass. With your strength and good heart, you will make a great demon slayer" she smiled at him, making his cheeks flushed

"Well I must go, see you soon" she waves at him then quickly runs off, speed from a blink of an eye

Tanjirou stood there as he was surprised by the girls speed "Who was that." He starts remembering about her and how she help him beat the mutated demon.

"Her strength was incredible, not only that her speed as well. Her scent was very abnormal, it's pure, strong and.......very sweet, like a cherry blossom" he blushed a bit more

He shook his head "now's not the time to think about that, I have to keep going, no time to stop. Once I see her, I have to thank her for saving me." He then starts running through tye forest "I have to pass, I have to live, for Nezuko and find a way to turn her back into human"
