Chapter 15: [Get-To-Know-You Game] Special Chapter pt. 3

All three of them waited for a few seconds before finally seeing the ball float, which made the kittens wag their tails, and Cale waited in anticipation.

[H.E.L.L.O] Kim Rok Soo wrote in the air and even waved his body left and right to say that he was waving

"He... really doesn't talk?" Cale asked, still looking at the oddly familiar ball in front of him

"It's not that he doesn't, it's that he can't. Look, he doesn't even have a mouth! How is he supposed to talk then?" Hong said in a 'stating the obvious' tone while pointing at Rok Soo

"ah yes yes, then, his name is Rok Soo and he's 36? you said?" Cale then said while nodding his head and looking at the floating ball of light that is now back on sitting on the pillow

"That's right! His whole name is Kim Rok Soo" Ohn said

'How is this supposed to be an introduce yourself when they're the one doing the introduction for the other?' Cale thought to himself as he looked at the kittens weirdly.

"You said that he was the one who led the two of you to me. How?" Cale asked and looked at the two kittens, it's better to talk to someone who can talk, it's easier

"We don't know. We just followed him because he told us to" Hong answered which made Cale's frown deepen

"didn't you say that he can't talk?" he asked

"Body language. He kept on leading us circling around us and going out of the alley, so we thought that he wanted us to follow him. Then we bumped into you after that" Ohn answered 

"How did he know that I was out there though? Rain City is a wide place" Cale mumbled to himself and finally looked back at the shining ball

"... We don't know either! We just followed him" Hong answered and finally looked at the shining ball, which made Ohn, who was sitting near Rok Soo, look at the ball as well

"..." No one said anything for the first few seconds, waiting for the ball to do something. Well, it did take Kim Rok Soo 5 seconds to realize that the children, yes, Cale is a child, are waiting for his answer. So he started floating up and flying towards the coffee table and stayed there for a bit, making sure that everyone is being attentive, which they are

[S.T.A.Y.E.D] Kim Rok Soo wrote in the air which gained a frown and a raised brow from the children who are watching him in anticipation

"huh? stayed? stayed where?" Hong asked curiously

[C.A.L.E'S  R.O.O.M   S.T.A.Y.E.D] He wrote again, to finally say and to free himself from the probable guilt of adding another baggage to the redhead child after living in his room without any payment, and probably bothering him at that time

It took them a few minutes before, finally, realizing what Kim Rok Soo had meant in what he wrote. And of course, an immature redhead who doesn't know how to mask his expression and emotion, a bit, was shocked at whatever he just heard-- or read, just now

"...WHAT?! YOU WERE THAT GHOST?!" Cale screamed, even standing up and pointing at the ball of light in front of them, surprising the kittens and Kim Rok Soo.

While the kittens, who were also surprised at the sudden shout, looked at the older redhead warily, slowly backing away from Cale and getting ready to run if ever Cale decided to throw a tantrum
