July, 1985
AMAYA TRIED TO block out the noises coming from Lucas's walkie. The two were so tired they ended up crashing next to eachother in his room.
Lucas's leg resting on her stomach and her hand on his face. It's safe to say they were in a careless sleep position.
"Lucas, Lucas you there?" The noise kept coming from the talkie. Amaya groaned as she shoved Lucas off which cause him to fall on the floor and scream like a little girl.
"What the hell?!" Lucas complained holding his head. "Pick. Your. Damn. Thing. Up." The girl said sleepily pointing at the talking thing beside them.
Lucas groaned and grabbed the talkie. "What." He said harshly. "Lucas I need you and Amaya, now." Mike spoke through the talkie. Amaya sat up at the sound of her name. Her and Lucas shared a look before getting up.

"She knows I'm lying, she knows I'm lying!" Mike complained as he paced around his basement while Amaya tried to keep herself awake and Will was setting up the game.
"I don't even understand, why lie?" Lucas questioned the teenage boy who kept pacing around. "Hopper! He threatened me."
"Did he say he'd kill you?" Amaya asked putting her hair up in a very, very messy bun. "What? No." Mike replied in an annoyed tone which made the girl throw her arms up.
"So then what's the big deal?" Lucas added trying to get what mike is going on about. "The big deal is if I don't do what he says then he'll stop me from seeing el, like permanently!"
Lucas sighed as mike continued on. Amaya leaned her head back and silently groaned listening to the boy talk about his girlfriend. "You don't understand lucas, he's crazy! He's lost his mind." Mike complained.
"Hey guys I'm almost set up here." Will spoke, Amaya turned to him and was about to speak but Mike cut her off before she could even start. "I had no choice lucas! I really had no choice!" Mike ignored Will which made the girl furrow her eyebrows.
"I just wish you'd consulted me, because the way you handled this." Lucas brought his hand up. "You're in deep shit." Amaya continued for him as he placed his hand down.
"I mean my boyfriend always lied to me but never like that-" Amaya continued until she was interrupted by the raven haired boy. "Boyfriend?!" He widened his eyes in shock.
"You didn't let me finish, I meant ex-boyfriend. He cheated on me with almost half of the volleyball team at my school but it's whatever." Amaya folded her arms as she slumped more into her seat.
