Even when the world around is gray, you can not be discouraged and despair.

When Stiles was a little boy, he saw with what love mom and dad look at each other.

The boy often asked his parents what color the sky, sun, and grass were.

But when his mother died, he stopped asking because he saw that it was hard for his father to talk about it. The younger Stilinski knew that if two soulmates found each other and one of them dies, then for the other the world turns gray again.

Stilinski would never have thought that his true mate could be nicer than Martin, with whom he has been in love since elementary school, but it is true.

Y/N Y/L/N is the daughter of a newly arrived lawyer couple in Beacon Hills.
Her parents always wore formal suits and there were no smiles on their faces. At least Stiles had never seen them smile.

Y/N, as if in contrast to her parents, she was a smiling and cheerful girl.

She became a new classmate of Stiles and Scott.

And Stilinski managed to fall in love with her.

Stiles had seen her parents at school a couple of times. Once they came to find out their daughter's grades, and the second time they were hired by Jackson's foster father in order to protect their son from McCall and Stilinski.

Whittemore hired only the best. Y/L/N's parents were like that.

The girl saw how Whittemore Sr. bothered her parents. They came home very tired, hungry and almost immediately went to bed. But they didn't tell their daughter anything, why make the girl worry?

Y/N decided that she would find out everything herself.

She knew Scott and Stiles were somehow involved, but she didn't know what exactly they had done.

Y/N ambushed two best friends at an empty office and when they passed by, she tried to drag them inside. I tried, because it was beyond the strength of a fragile girl to drag two young men into the classroom.

In the end, she just tugged on their jackets and they turned around in surprise and stared at her.

Y/L/N silently pointed to the classroom. Thank God they weren't retarded and realized that she needed something from them.

As soon as the guys were in the classroom, Y/N also silently slammed the door.

And then it started! And reproaches, threats and questions, which, however, have so far remained unanswered, because the girl did not give classmates a word to insert.

As soon as her vocabulary ran out and she took a deep breath, staring questioningly at McCall and Stilinski, they tried to explain everything to her.

To the surprise of the guys, she took the message about werewolves in the city calmly.

"So you want to say that Jackson Whittemore is a kanima?" The girl asked incredulously, still not believing what she had heard.

"Yes," Scott repeated wearily, "do you want us to go and check together later?"

The girl didn't hesitate for a second:

"I want to."

"So that I once again agree to your proposal!" shouted Y/N, running away from the enraged Jackson, who had turned into a kanima after all and was now chasing them almost at their heels.

Fortunately, Stiles came to her rescue in time, but he could do little to help, so after a few seconds two people were already running away from the evil kanima.

Scott and Derek, who had been called by McCall just in case, defended the guys as best they could.

Two teenagers ran up to them and hid behind their backs to catch their breath and recover.

"Thank you," Y/N said on an exhale, "if it weren't for you..."

"You're welcome," Stiles smiled wryly, his eyes following the converted Whittemore.

The girl also looked at the younger Whittemore and almost missed the moment when he was able to turn back into a human. The guy looked at everyone with such horror in his eyes that he even felt sorry for him.

"What am I doing here?" Jackson asked in a lost voice.

"Oh, it's a long story..."

"Thank you," the girl said when the teenagers were walking home, "you saved me today..."

"You're welcome, and stop thanking me already," the guy replied.

The two stopped in front of the girl's house. The guy wanted to kiss her so much and tell her how much she was dear to him, how he was worried about the situation with kanima. And he decided to try to kiss her. After all, if she does not push him away, then he will have to confess his love to her, if he pushes her away... but I didn't want to think about it.

Stiles timidly touched the girl's lips with his own and felt that she was responding to him. The guy and the girl closed their eyes, and when they opened, the whole world found colors.

They looked around with admiration, and when they realized what had happened, they looked at each other in amazement.

"So you're my soulmate," Stiles said hoarsely.

"It turns out that so," still could not recover Y/L/N.

Stilinski once again looked around the world with delight, and then clung to Y/N's lips, this time with confidence that he was doing everything right, because Y/N Y/L/N did not push him away, and also even responded to the kiss. Does this mean...

These thoughts of the guy were drowned in a stream of other thoughts that filled his head, because Y/N responded to the kiss for the second time.

Pulling away from the guy, Y/N opened the gate, passed the path across the lawn, ran up to the porch and opened the door.

"Bye," holding on to the door handle, the girl said, and then disappeared into the house.

"Bye," the guy stretched out after her.

For several days, Y/N and Stiles didn't talk at all. Not at school, not on the street, nowhere.

As a result, when Stilinski told his best friend about the kiss with Y/L/N for the hundredth time, McCall got tired of it.

"So go and talk to her!" unable to stand it, the guy barked.

The sheriff's son recoiled from his friend in fright, but decided to follow his advice anyway.

Y/N was found after lessons in the chemistry room. There was no one else in the classroom, and Stiles knocked on the door frame, attracting her attention.

"Oh, my God, it's you!" she breathed out in fright, approaching the door, in the opening of which the guy was standing.

"Yeah, it's me," the guy replied, examining the y/h/c.

"Did you want something?" the girl asked.

"I would like to clarify our relationship with you," Stiles said right off the bat, "do you like me?"

There was a pause. The guy already regretted asking this question and wanted to apologize and leave, but Y/L/N did not give him such an opportunity.

"Yes, I like you," she replied, taking a step towards the guy, "and I would like to date you, if, of course, you wanted to ask about it."

The answer to the girl's words was a long kiss.
