Ep 12

"Stop making me seem pitiful. It hurts."
Elena yells at Aiden.

"Do you even have any idea how much Kate went through because of you and now you want to do the same with me? Do you even have a heart? How can someone be so cold-hearted?"
Elena starts breathing heavily, getting out of breath while saying all this in one breath.

Aiden tries to stop Elena but she moves back.

After a few seconds, she gets dizzy and falls unconscious on Aiden's arms.

[The next day]

Elena wakes up in an unknown place.

She quickly grasps the situation and realises that she is at Aiden's house, after seeing the framed picture of Aiden on the wall.

She quietly gets out of his house and heads straight towards Kate's house.

Kate was about to leave for her office when she noticed Elena standing at a distance.

Elena runs to Kate and hugs her tightly.

"I'm sorry, I may sound greedy but can't you let him be mine ?"

Elena breaks into tears.

Kate takes Elena inside her house and heads straight to her room. Her parents are out for 1-2 weeks for visiting her grandparents.

Kate takes out a tissue from her drawer and wipes off Elena's tears.

"You drank last night?"
Kate asks Elena.

"I did cause I thought that would be the best option to help me forget what I heard and saw."

"What did you even heard and saw that made you so shocked and you straight up got drank?"

"Aiden is the one for whom you waited all these years, ain't he?"
Elena looks at Kate.

Kate's jaws drop.
"How do you --?"

"Do you still love him?"
Elena asks another question, not letting Kate finish her words.

Kate gets up from her bed, on which she was sitting and walks to the dustbin to throw the tissue.

She turns back and looks at Elena.
"I loved Stephen and waited for him but I don't know who Aiden is."

"But they are the same person!"
Elena snaps back.

"They aren't!"
Kate stops Elena.

"Stephen loved me.
Aiden knows nothing about Kate Wilson.
Stephen shared all his stories with me.
Aiden only meets up when he has official meetings.
Stephen promised to get back to me.
Aiden didn't!

They are different and I don't have any rights on Mr. Aiden Anderson. So I don't think you need to ask me for a fully grown-up man."

Kate takes her pursue.

"It's time for me to go to my office. I'll take my leave"
Kate leaves.

(At the office)

"Good morning"
Ella, her colleague wishes her.

She wishes her back.

"Good morning Sirius!"
Kate wishes.

Sirius looks at Kate but doesn't reply with anything.

Why is he looking different than other days?

The Sirius she knew, was always cheerful. Is this because of what she told him? But why would her truth affect him?

Kate sits on her desk and gets on her work.

[Before]

"So now that you know that I was his first love, can you please tell me what happened to him that he vanished in thin air without any traces?"

Sirius gave a hesitant look but finally opened up at Kate's continuous persuasion.

"I myself didn't knew any of these stories at first. It's only a year that I know. My parents had an emergency where they had to take Stephen with them. While driving in a rush, they crashed into another vehicle and all damage occured on Stephen. He went in coma for 2 months and when he finally woke up, he forgot all his memories for 1½ years. My grandparents refused to keep him with my parents. They begged them to give them another chance but my grandparents didn't. Well! They couldn't be blamed! I myself saw in front of my eyes how he was always treated. But after my grandparents took him away to Canada, my parents finally realised their fault and now..... You know all other things "

Sirius looks at his watch.

"I took much of your time. Promise to never do the same again!"

And Sirius left like that.
