Chapter 2- Sarah
“Sarah,” Aaron whispered.
I was laying in his hospital bed and slowly turned my head, “Yea,” I replied.
“Do you wanna ummm….” Aaron all of a sudden got pink and started blushing.
This was different because in all the months we had talked he had never done this.
I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Do I what Aaron, spit it out,” I said.
“Do you wanna be my girlfriend,” he said it so fast I could barely understand the jumbled up words.
I sat up in the bed slightly irritated but honored at the same time.
“ I thought I already was Aaron, I mean I’m in here almost every day; sneaking you food, talking, laying in your bed….” Before I could finish Aaron kissed me.
By the time we broke apart I was breathless.
"I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page, so now it's official," he said smiling.
From that moment I had been his and he had been mine and I knew it was love.
