Backstory: Ash is the adoptive son of
Irisviel & Kiritsugu and the adoptive brother of Illya. When he was 4 years old, his real mother disowned him. So he have to live by himself in a slums. 

   Throughout the years he have to endure all types of insults & beatings from the people where he worked to gain some money. It caused him a mental distress and he went to a emotionless human.(Like Kanao from Demon Slayer)
  
   After that some workers tried to sell him off that's when Kiritsugu and Irisviel saved him.
