Days passed it was almost one week since the man last saw the other sneaking into his garden.
All these while he never let his hope down. He was determined enough to wait near that same window everyday for the other
But days passed and he never came.
Today he was ready to risk it all and run to the other and tell him how much he missed him, his mind just assured him that he could meet the other today.
Seconds, minutes and hours passed
He was still waiting for the other to come, even it was past their usual time.
"Where are you? Are you just playing with me? Or did you leave just like the rest? Please end this misery and come to me. I promise you this time I'm not going to cover myself, I'll show you the real me. I really want you beside me, I love you"
LOVE, that word slipped out of his mouth just like that. It was a dangerous feeling and he knew it. But he loved the sweetness of it, he finally had a reason to wake up each morning, he finally had dreamt of a beautiful family with the other.
He became restless as he figured out his feelings for the other and couldn't wait any longer to confess. So he decided to go to the others place and he did it
He was standing nervously Infront of the others door contemplating whether or not to knock. But he mustered up his courage and knocked.
A few minutes later he heard the door clicking. He became nervous, this throat went dry and he couldn't breathe. But the door opened and there stood a pretty old lady who looked really beautiful just like his man.
"Who are you? " The lady asked
"I-i- came to-" he stopped when he saw the lady sobbing, her eyes were red she looked really tired but still she glowed just like the other
" my s-son never deserved any of this. It could've been me anyway I'm old but he just -" she cried hard
" I'm sorry ma'am I don't get what you're saying " he said hoping the other was doing fine but then what the lady said next broke his heart.
He felt like the earth could swallow him whole then and there. His heart was aching, he felt cold.
With teary eyes he walked out of that place ignoring all the noises around him. And reaching his garden crouching down near the Smeraldos he broke down
