Kai Masters was laying down relaxing on the grass of Palmer Park. He looked up at the night sky and only seeing a few stars due to the light pollution of Lanesville, Wisconsin. He contemplated his life right now. A 16-year-old sophomore stressed about an AP History Test next Friday, Tennis next month, and worrying about finding a job for the coming summer.
He took a breath about to get up and head back up before he saw comet in the sky. For some reason his eyes cannot stop staring at it. His body started tingling before shaking falling back down to the floor. The teenagers body convulsed, his eyes rolling back to the back of his head until unconscious.
Around the world, 199 others became captivated by the comet. All those captivated fell unconscious as well. The comet would be the start of a series of events that will change the world.
