Stolen Love
Hannah's pov
I furrowed my brows and slowly opened my eyes to total darkness. I blinked my eyes open and turned around. I open my eyes and reach for the surface, feeling the space around me. I'm trapped inside a trunk. I nervously parted my lips and gasped. I'm starting to panic.
" HELLO?!!" I screamed, looking around, hoping that something or someone would hear me. I remained silent and listened, hearing the vehicle continue to drive.
"IF THIS IS A JOKE, PLEASE STOP!" I screamed again, then went silent to see if he had heard me.
Instead, he cranks up the music. I let out a loud squeal and scrunched my hair with my hands. This cannot possibly be happening.
Few moments later
When I opened my eyes, I saw that he was now carrying me on their shoulder. I groan softly and squint my eyes at the ground, dizzy from this position.
"P-Please stop, I-I think I'm about to throw up," I said weakly, feeling them abruptly stop walking and place me down.
Before gagging, I close my eyes and lean against a tree. I immediately turned my head to the side and started vomiting. I stopped and lean my back against the tree once more. While wiping my wet mouth, I groaned in pain. As I slowly looked up at him, my eyes felt heavy.
"If this is your presumably surprise date, no girl will ever want to go on a second date with you." I told him the truth and took a deep breath to avoid throwing up again.
I don't do well with long trips, especially in a small, cramped space. I become claustrophobic, which causes me to become ill.
When I looked up, I noticed that there were other men present. My brow furrowed in puzzlement.
What the hell?...
He takes a water bottle from one of them and throws it at me. I jolted slightly and clutched the bottle to my chest. I widened my eyes at him.
"I hope you understand why you're here," he said, staring at me intently. I shifted my gaze away from the other men.
I swallowed and returned my gaze to him.
" Surprise date?" I responded by looking at him, then at the other men, who burst out laughing at me. I closed my mouth and noticed my face turning red.
I didn't like it when people laughed at me, especially when it wasn't with me. I was heavily bullied during my freshman year of high school. I was unhealthily obese and had acne on my face and body. Everyone used to refer to me as
"Pizza shape" and "Fatty."
They'd all mock me for being who I used to be. They laughed in my face whenever they saw me, laughed whenever they hurt or picked on me. I despised it because I didn't want to be Fatty Hannah. I aspired to be someone they could look up to, admire, and love. I concentrated on myself until my senior year of high school. I was the most beautiful girl in that school, and everyone loved me, even the bullies, and some even wanted to date me.
Could you imagine?
My life was perfect until Elira came to our school and destroyed everything I had worked for. Her natural beauty drew everyone's attention and interest. They all turned their gaze away from me and towards Elira. All kinds of nice compliments, including
"doll,"
"pretty face," and "queen."
That has enraged me greatly. I disliked everything about her and continue to do so.
