FAYE SLOWLY BLINKS AWAKE, she blinks back a thunderstorm of pain swarming in her mind, the disjointed haze recedes to the point where she can make sense of the world around her. Though the edges of her vision flicker and dance, the centre coalesced into a figure standing in the doorway of the small room she's being held in.
"Morning sunshine!" Merle's voice echoes around the room, Faye's eyes widen in fear as he takes slow steps into the room, closing the door behind him. "Don't be scared. I don't want to hurt you, I just want to ask you a few questions."
"I'm not telling you shit." Faye shakes her head slowly, gritting her teeth as her hands that are tied up behind her tremble with fear and dread.
Merle smirks, laughing out of his nose. "Is that so?" He takes more steps over to her stopping when he's stood besides her. Glancing down at his bloody hand with a grin. "Glenn said the same thing, I had to mess up that pretty face of his. I'd hate to mess up yours."
Faye flinches as Merle slowly lifts his bloodied hand up to her face, dragging the back of it across her cheek. She tenses as she feels the warm liquid coat's her cheek, knowing that the blood belongs to her best friend causes her eyes to immediately tear up.
"I'll make you talk," Merle traces the back of his hand down to her chin, then down her neck, then her chest. "I really don't want to hurt you, Faye. You're a nice girl, I know that. But I need to know where my little brother is. You understand, right?"
"Please, D..." Faye pleads, her voice shaking as she watches Merle's hand travel somewhere she's isn't comfortable with. She looks down, noticing the blood covering her chest. Before Merle can touch her cleavage, he removes his hand and lifts it back up to her face.
"Shhh," He whispers, slowly moving a strand of hair out of her face. "Where is my brother?"
Faye remains silent, forcing herself to swallow her words. If someone's going to break and give up the groups location, it's not going to be her. She stares at the table in front of her, trying her best to seem unfazed by Merle's threats.
"Tell me, Faye," He demands, his anger building up within him. As Faye slowly shakes her head for an answer, Merle stands up and slams his hands down on the wooden table with force, making her flinch. "Tell me!"
"You think Daryl will forgive you for this?" Faye manages to say, taking a deep breath through her nose. He smirks as he raises his eyebrow. "Hurting the people he cares about? You'll just make him hate you, is that what you want?"
Merles smirk drops, and a look of disbelief washes over his face. "You think my baby brother cares about you?" He questions, bursting out into laughter. "Damn, He fooled you good."
