Today was the day! My dream of fame finally came true! And all it took was to join a club who accepted me...

The Hollywood Ghost Club!

I know, I know. The last experience was a little rough. But it has gotten so much better now that I decided to join! And today is the day I get to shine! I was told there would be a huge audience today, which I am so excited for!

Unfortunately, none of my friends were able to make it. But, hey, that doesn't mean I can't make new ones from this performance! I head backstage and grab a microphone.

"Amelia, it's time. Are you ready?" A member asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I sigh.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage... Amelia Wilson". I take a deep breath and walk to the center. The crowd applauds and shouts my name. Ah, this is what I've been waiting for!

"Thank you! Thank you! I can not tell you all enough how much of an honor it is to be here! Thank you all for the support!" I turn around and look at the band. "Let's begin!"

I take a bow as the crowd goes wild. I walk offstage and high five everyone around. I freeze for a second and look down. I can't do this!

I run to my room and begin taking my makeup off. I try catching my breath as I look into the mirror.

"I don't want to do this anymore! Please just let me go!" I say as I gasp for air. I feel a sharp pain in my chest as a puff of smoke comes out.

"Not like you really have a choice..." I hear from behind. I turn around and see Caleb smirk.

"Why are you doing this?" I ask.

"To prove a point. That your little friends don't need you. You deserve the fame more than they do. Plus, if they can't be in my club, I'll just take the better performer then." He chuckles.

"Forget it, find someone else. I quit."

"Again, you have no choice but to be here. The only other option is your own life being taken away."

"You're going to kill me?" I ask.

"Kill you? I'm not that evil! I'm just going to give you that stamp again that forces you to stay here. And if that fails, well, you know what happens I think."

"They'll know I'm gone." I warn him.

"How would they know if you never disappeared in the first place?" He grins.

"What-" Before I could finish my sentence, a cloud of smoke enters my body.

Ha!

They thought they could trick me.

They thought I was done for good.
