If this is the last time

If this is the last time I'll hold you.
I'll hold you like I'll never let you go.
I'll say I love you, like it's the most endearing words you'll ever hear.
Though I wanted to keep you near.

I want to spend time like the sands by the seas.
So that time won't cease to exist.
But if I have to let you go.
Know that you are a memory I'll always go to.
You are my greatest love
and you will always be.

I will always hope for your happiness
Even if it's not with me.
Though it hurts to let you go.
I know I will be ok.
You are my greatest love and my greatest heartbreak.
You thought me so much and I will always treasure that.

Thank you for the love and laughter.
Thank you for the lessons our love thought me.
Thank you for every little thing.
Thank you for giving a chance to someone like me to love someone as incredible and as amazing as you.

In honest truth I don't want and never want to let you go.
I love you so much and I want to keep choosing you.
Choosing us but if time don't permit it to be so.
Maybe in another lifetime.
We'll have all the love in the world.
