Kabanata 2

Kris's POV :

Bimby and I are on our way to Pagudpod for his Sem break . We are busy with our phones when someone was hit by our car.

"Oh my goodness Manong ! Nakabangga tayo !" Sigaw ko

"Maam di ko po sinasadya , bigla nalang po sumulpot ." Sabi nito bumaba ako ng kotse and I saw a girl lying on the road .

I kneeled in front of her and checked on her , I saw that there was blood that freaked me out

"Oh my gosh ! Manong tulungan mo ako ! May dugo !" Sigaw ko kay Manong

"Iha can you hear me ?" Tanong ko at niyuyugyog sya .

"T-tulungan nyo po a-ako ." Sambit ng babae at nawalan ito ng malay

"Manong paki bilisan ! Dalhin na natin sya sa Hospital!" Sabi ko. Binuhat sya ni Manong at pinasok sa loob ng kotse . I checked her wound but it's so different wala syang ibang sugat kung hindi ang nasa balikat nya and I found out that hindi dahil sa pagkakabangga napuruhan ang bata

"Manong pakibilisan mo wala akong pakialam kung mag bayad tayo ng mga tickets , Hindi tayo ang dahilan kung bakit sya dinudugo , tama ng bala itong nasa balikat nya ." I said

"Bimby can you get my scarf ? hurry !" I said

"Here Mom , Is she okay ?" He asked and gave me the scarf .

"No , she's has a gunshot on her shoulder I need to put some pressure on it." I said .

We got to the Hospital and we quickly brought her to the emergency room . We waited for the doctor to come out and when it did he asked us kung kaano ano namin sya

"Are you the relatives Ma'am?" He asked

"No , we accidentally bumped her with our car but when I checked the wound, it's not from the impact of our car . It's from a gunshot ." I explained

"Is there anyone who's blood type is A positive ?" He asked "Maraming nawalang dugo sa bata ." He added

"I-I'm A positive , Doc" I said and stood up

"And I'm willing to donate blood if it's needed." I said

"If that's the case , we need to run some tests before proceeding to the blood transfusion." He said that made my ear tingles on what he just said and I lost my temper

"The girl is dying ! For goodness sake !" I blurted

"I'm sorry Ma'am but we also think of the child's safety ." He said patiently, I sat and rubbed my temple

"Okay let's do the tests but please make it quick." I said .

We did all the tests and it all turned out good , that's why we proceeded inside the E.R. where the girl is lying . I felt something strange in my stomach, I don't know but I feel like I'm about to cry . I cleared my throat and close my eyes . When the transfusion is done and the girl's vitals are now normal they moved the girl to a different room where Bimby and I are staying for tonight.

"Why is she running kaya and has gunshot Mommy?" Tanong ni Bimby

"Maybe someone is chasing after her ." I said at lumapit sa kanya

"Maybe you should sleep muna , we're spending the night here and until she wakes up okay ?" I said that he obliged and lay down on the sofa .

I sat next to the girl , she's beautiful I can tell . I'm really worried about her well being , who shoot her ? She looks so horrified kanina, I mean her being hit by a bullet explains it but what happened before that ? I rested my chin on my hands thinking why am I so worried about this child .
