Their expressions changed to confused. "Eddie..?" Lucas said looking over to Eddie who nodded. "But Eddie's a boy?" Mike said stating the obvious. "No shit dumbass they're gay" Max said smiling at Steve. "Ohh" He said nodding.

She rolled her eyes at Mike's dumbness. "Your dating Eddie?" Dustin asked. "Yeah.." Steve said softly, Dustin smiled and eveyone was silent. "So your not divorced anymore huh?" Dustin said joking, Steve and Eddie laughed at his little joke.

"Not anymore.." Eddie said. "So that's why yall stopped making those divorced dad jokes.." Dustin said putting two and two together.

"Well I'm happy for yall" Dustin said, the other younger ones nodded, they continued playing their d&d game, Steve let out a sigh of relief, it felt amazing to finally tell them, he loved Eddie and wanted to show him off.

"Oh guys?" Eddie said pausing the game, they all looked at him waiting for him to speak. "Yall know the wedding is tomorrow yeah?" He asked. "Yeah, yeah were all ready" Max said glancing between them all. "Ok good" he said resuming the game.

"I'll be back" Steve said getting up to use the bathroom, they nodded paying attention to the game and he went upstairs and headed towards the bathroom, he got to it and it was shut, he knocked on it to see if it was being used. "I'm in here!" Nancy shouted. "Oh sorry.." He said waiting by the door.

She quickly opened it hearing him. "Really?" She asked annoyed. "What do you want?" She asked. "I'm just trying to use the bathroom Nancy..." he said. "Ok you know why I'm upset" she said glaring at him. "Yeah.. I know" he said looking away from her.

"Because.." she said wanting him to finish she crossed her arms and stood there. "Because of what happened with Jonathan, I know I'm sorry ok? I've said it a million times" he said. "Dosen't mean I'm gonna forgive you, your a douchebag Steve" she said.

"No I'm not.. I- I've changed" he said stuttering. "Really?" She said not believing him. "Yes! Nancy I have, I'm a good guy now" he said standing his ground. "No one can change.. that much, you broke his camera and beat him.. and you vandalized a movie theater calling me a slut!" she said fuming

"Nancy I'm sorry ok! I was am idiot and I didn't enjoy any of it.. it was peer pressure" he said, his voice cracking. She noticed his shakiness and his shaky knuckles. "Jesus Steve.." she said picking up his hand and looking at his knuckles, he quickly pulled his hand back. "What happened?" She asked."nothing Nancy.." he said softly

"Your still gonna act cold?" She questioned.
"You just.. don't need to know" he said looking away. "Yeah whatever" she said shoving her shoulder into his as she walked off going upstairs, he sighed and went into the bathroom to use it, he looked at himself in the mirror, he wasn't even feel like himself right now.

He put his hands under the water and watched them shake even more, he retracted them and sighed again, he shut the toilet lid and sat down on it while holding his head in his hands. "God what's wrong with me?" He mumbled.

"He deserved that beating but.." he said aloud. "It wasn't right for me to do that" he said shaking his head slightly, he let out another sigh as he got up and used the bathroom before walking out.

He came back to the basement upset but tried his best not to show it, but his boyfriend noticed. "Hey Steve you ok?" Eddie asked getting up and walking over to him as Steve sat down in a chair, Steve hated that Eddie was immediately able to notice if he was off. "Yeah... I'll tell you later" he said glancing at the kids, Eddie nodded and sat back down continuing the game.

Steve got up and went over to El who was making some kind of craft, it looked like her cabin with Hopper. "El what's this?" He asked sitting with her. "Oh its a diorama of my cabin with Hopper!" She said joyfully as she glued two pieces together.

"El it's amazing! Is it a school project?" He asked her, trying to focus on other things and just be happy. "Mhm!" She said gluing a squirrel figure she made to the fake grass surrounding the cabin. "Want help?" He asked. "Sure!" She said handing him some paint.

He painted the cabin while she made a Hopper figure. "You should definitely get an A+ for this" he said looking at it all. "Hopefully Yeah. "Will came over to them. "Hey guys what're you doing?" He asked. "I'm helping her with a school project" Steve said.

"Oh! I have a project for the same class" he said running to get his poster, he ran back over with it. "I've been working on It for a bit" he said showing it proudly to Steve. "Aw wow Will! Alan Turning huh?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh yeah.. I like him alot..." Will said nervously. "Uh huh" Steve said slightly smiling. "Whaat.." Will said feeling a little embarrassed. "Nothing nothing.. it looks awesome" Steve said genuinely.

"Thanks" Will said going to place his poster back down. "Alright El are you good?" Steve asked her, she nodded and he got up going back over to the other ones who were playing d&d. "Guys I have to go.." Lucas said frowning.

"Aw man no!" Dustin said. "Sorry my mom gave me a curfew today he said walking towards the stairs. Oh ok.." Dustin said. "See yall tomorrow?" He asked. "Yeah man of course" Mike said, he nodded and left.

"Well great! Now we need a sub" Mike said annoyed. "I can.. be the sub" Steve said quietly. "You?" Mike questioned. "But you dont know how to play?" Eddie said confused, Dustin smiled and so did Steve. "What's happening" Max asked.

"I had Dustin teach me how to play incase yall ever needed a sub" Steve said. "Really?" Eddie asked, Steve nodded and sat down. "Alright! I mean let's play" Eddie said, they resumed their game, and it lasted the rest of the day.

It was night time and Steve and Eddie were at Eddie's trailer talking. "So what was that earlier with that girl?" Eddie asked as him and Steve cuddled, they were both only in their boxers and Steve was laying on top of Eddie, but on his back.

Steve sighed. "She's my ex" Steve said, Eddie was messing messing his hair. "Oh.." Eddie said softly. "Yeah I was a real douche back then" he said shaking his head slightly at how he used to be.

"I did some bad things and she rightfully hates me for it, today was our first time seeing each other in a long time, after our break up she left for awhile with Jonathan but I guess they're back" he said fidgeting with Eddie's ring.

"Yeah I remember you when you were a douchebag.." Eddie said smiling. "God I was such an ass" Steve said chuckling. "Yeah you were" Eddie said starting to laugh too.

"So earlier when you went up to the bathroom... did something happen? Up seemed upset when you came back" Eddie said. "Yeah we ran into each other and she really let me hear it" he said tiredly. "Sorry Stevie" Eddie said. "No it's fine I definitely deserve it so.." he said yawning as he turned over and hugged Eddie's bare stomach.

Steve put his hands on Eddie's upper body and Eddie noticed his knuckles again they were less shaky now but still slightly shaking. "Steve.." Eddie said softly. "Yeah?" Steve asked looking up to him, he noticed his own knuckles and quickly retracted them.

"Did something happen?" Eddie asked, Steve sighed. "Yeah.." he mumbled. "Should I be worried?" Eddie asked. "No- I don't think so.." Steve said unsure, Eddie nodded. "Do you wanna talk about it? He asked rubbing Steve's back. "There not much to say.. I just- I beat Andy... like to a pulp" Steve said looking into Eddie's eyes.

Eddie expression changed, he furrowed his brows in confusion. "To a pulp..? He asked softly. "Yeah" Steve said his voice cracking. "Steve are you ok?" Eddie asked pulling him close. "Yea- no.." he said wrapping his arms around Eddie, he started crying into Eddie's chest as Eddie held him.

"Steve im never gonna judge you or hate you" Eddie said reassuring him, he nodded slightly, while crying... he started to fall asleep after crying for awhile, Eddie played with Steve's hair as Steve slowly fell asleep.

"I love you.." Eddie whispered, Steve mumbled it back, to worn out to speak.
