Entangled Again

16. Raavi Faces Truth

*Raavi returned late night due an emergency, both the kids were fast asleep, Rishita and Dev were out on a late night date. Raavi with the intensions to not distribute the kido's sleep went to Rishita's room to get fresh. Later when she came to kitchen to find the leftovers to eat, and proceed towards the terrace were she heard Shiva.*

*Standing at the entrance of the terrace, Raavi was watching Shiva from afar. While Shiva was standing facing his back to raavi near the boundary, looking at the sky with a bottle of beer in his hand. Raavi was stunned standing in silence seeing this Shiva.*

Shiva: *murmmering to himself, in drunken state* Sab thik tha, baas ab muskil hota jaa raha hai raavi... Mujhse yeh duri bardash nahi ho rahi... Tera samne hona par baat na karna, yaha kahi *pointing towards his heart* bohot daar deta hai!  Kya ab hum dost bhi nahi reh sakte? *Lifted his beer bottle to take another gulp, but his hand was abruptly stopped midway*

*Shiva, was shocked seeing her beside himself. This was the first time after their first day here, that raavi herself approached him*

Raavi: Shiva, mai aaj bhi Teri dost hu. Mat kar yeh sab, teri health bigar sakti hai. Tu aapne dost ki khush mai khush hone aaya hai ya aapne dukh mai dukhi karane? Chor isse bolana!! *Jerk the hand away, hence the beer bottle shattered from Shiva's hand*

Shiva: Agar tu dost hai toh ignore kyu karti hai. *Pouts cutely*

Raavi: Shiva hamara past chala gya hai, ab beete baato ka koi matlab nahi hai! Tu kamare mai chal aagar kisi ne dekh liya toh bawal hojayega...

Shiva: Par mujhe payas lagi hai!

*Raavi manages to pull Shiva and lead him to his room, on entering his room she made him sit on the bed*

Raavi: Tu idhar ruk mai nimbo pani lekar aati hu. Kahi bhi mat jaana, samjhe! *Shiva nods and Raavi went towards the kitchen, closing the door slightly*

Raavi: Yeh kya hogya hai Shiva ko, isne peena kab se shuru kar diya! *While making nimbo pani* Mujhe kal Shiva se baat karni hogi, abhi toh woh hosh Mai nahi hai...

Shiva: *Silently comes and backhugs raavi* Mai hosh mey hi hu... Tum hi nahi ho!

Raavi: *startled* Shiva?! Tu yaha kya kar raha hai... Choor mujhe koi dekh lega... Shiva choor... *Struggles in his arms, trying to unarm herself, while pushing his arm*

Shiva: Raavi mujhe toh baas peene ka nasha hai, par lagta hai tujhe Shaan ka jo nasha chadha hai woh kabhi katam nahi hoga... *Sadly steps back leaving Raavi*

*Raavi felt a sudden emptiness, she turned back holding the lemonade glass. Shiva was nowhere to be seen. She rushed out of the kitchen. Shiva was heading towards the personal pool of the villa, raavi was following closely behind. Shiva stoped after reaching the edge, sat down dipping his leg in the pool and taped the place beside him for Raavi towards his right.*
Shiva: Raavi you knew even in my half consciousness that she will not leave me alone, *pulls Raavi's wrist, making she sit beside but in the process, lemonade fell into the pool* toh pphir tu mujhe mere itne mushkil samaye mai kyu chor kar chali gyi thi. Pata hai mai tere shaadi mai aaya tha. *Raavi turns to him shocked, while he continues to look at the sky and the pool alternatively* Tujhe aapni aakho se Shaan ka hote hue dekha, usne teri maang bhari, tujhe mangalsutr pehnaya. Aur mai baas khara tha, kuch nahi kar sakta tha. Teri bidai hogi par mai toh aaj bhi wahi khara hu jaha tu mujhe choor kar Shaan ke saath gyi thi. *Turns to Raavi, holding her face with his right hand* Raavi tu aage nikal gyi par kabhi peeche Mur kar nahi dekha mujhe? Aaj tu do baacho ki maa hai, tere baache bhi bohot pyaare hai. Shivi toh bilkul Teri tarah hai, pyaari aur naadan. Par shayad Shivin aapne baap par gya hai. Lagata hai Shaan bhi bada ziddi aur adiyal hoga, tabhi beta bhi aapne baap ke lachan le kar peda hua hai. *Laughs out, while his eye rolls down some moisture. Raavi notices it and immediately wipes away his tears holding his jawline and nape.*

Raavi: Shiva... *He looks towards her, staring her eyes*

Shiva: Nahi Raavi tu kuch mat bol mujhe aaj aapna maan halka kar lene de, wese bhi kal mujhe yeh sab yaad nahi hoga toh mujhe baas iss moment mai rehne de... *again diverts his view to the pool* Upar wala bhi kya khele khelta hai, Agar sab sahi hota toh shayad Shivi aur Shivin jese pyaare pyaare baache hote hamare paas. Par koi nahi, yeh Shaan ke bacche hai, Shaan inka baap hamesha rahega par mai inka mama ya chacha to bann hi sakta hu na. Itna toh maag hi sakta hu na...*turns towards Raavi, found her staring him already with tears brimming her eyes*

*Raavi immediately captures his lips and gives a small sweet kiss. As she released herself, Shiva analysed the happening and after a few seconds they were again into a deep passionate kiss, pouring away all of the emotions*

*After some time, to hold the breath both left eachother, Shiva was grazing Raavi but Raavi lowered her sight looking into the pool*

Shiva: Kyu?

Raavi: Shiva, tujhe kal kuch yaad nahi rahega toh Mai baas... *She gets up hurriedly* Mai jati hu koi dekh lega toh problem hojayege. *Walked away being embarassed*

Shiva: Raavi, tu hamesha mujhe peche choor kar kyu chali jaati hai... *Sadly whispers*

*Shiva gets up to follow her, but the drowsiness began to overtake him. He strumbled, but was caught by his arm, a pair of feminine hands holding onto him.
Then came another pair of hand helping him stabilize and help him stand upright*

Rishita: Shiva, yeh kya halat bana li hai? Itna koi Peeta hai kya...

Dev: Peeta hai naa, yeh Banda har raat Peeta tu inn do hafto mai pehle baar dekh rahi hai. Chal tujhe kamare mai lejaya hu Shiva... Chal *handing Shiva's arm around his shoulder, he walks towards Shiva's room*

Rishita: *following the sight of both the boys walking away, she mummers to herself, standing near the pool* Kya Raavi ke jaane ka dukh itna baada hai Shiva ki uske wapas aana bhi tujhe nahi dikh raha hai? Kya yeh aadate raavi ko tere kareeb aane bhi degi? Do bacche hai uske, samajh sakti hu uska tere paas chup rehna par tu kyu nahi kadam bada raha hai, kya pata tere ek kadam badane se Raavi wapas tere paas  baag kaar aajaye! *Looking up to the stars* Hey somnath ji, aapke sheher mai inn dono premiyo koi thori sadh budhi dedo... Shayad, Raavi aapne jindagi ke berang paane Shiva ko dede rango se baarne ke liye aur saath hi Shiva aapna dil Raavi ke saamne kholde. Mujhe lagta hai meri councelling se jayada Raavi ka pyaar Shiva ko jaldi thik kar dega...

Dev: *calls out from Shiva's room window* Rishu, kya kar rahi hai bahar thandi hai jaldi andar aaja...

Rishita: aarahi hu!! *Walks inside*
