He turned as soon as he rang the bell to leave when suddenly the door opened and he stopped midway...✨

He hesitantly walked in and she guided him into her little cottage...✨

He sighed and looked around...It wasn't some typical clinic or something, but it was a small cosy cottage...The room had two single sofas, may be typically to attend her patients here...Then on the side was a shelf filled with books and a loads of show pieces...He sighed looking around and scanning the place...✨
Monami saw that from the corner of his eye and smiled a little while filling the glass of water...✨

This broke Karan's trance and he took the glass from her hand...✨
Karan - Umm no thank you
He still took the glass and kept it on the side table next to him...Monami sighed and walked upto her chair...✨
Monami - Hmmm...So?? Karan Shergill right??
Karan - Umm hmm
He lightly hummed without meeting her eye and kept on tapping his feet awkwardly...Monami easily could make out that he's nervous being here or may be he just doesn't wanna be here in the first place...✨
Monami - I'm Dr. Monami Mahajan...Your therapist, shrink, psychiatrist... Whatever you wanna call it
Karan smiled under his breath looking down...✨
Karan - You definitely don't look like one
Monami smiled lightly,
Monami - Haha kyu?? Just because I'm not sitting in some fancy hospital or clinic, wearing a white coat prescribing you medicines, i don't look like a doctor?? Haha actually yes I'm not that typical dawaiya dene wali doctor but I'm still a Doctor
Monami smiled, hearing her Karan too smirked agreeing and nodded lightly in agreement...✨

Karan - Umm kuch nahi...Didn't help much...They put me on some meds, some days I slept with those and some days I stay woke all night even after taking those pills...So yeah, eventually I stopped taking them
Monami sighed lightly and wrote that down too...✨
Monami - Umm okay one question...You can't sleep sleep or u have a restless sleep??
Karan - Umm kinda both
