WHAT HAPPENS when you get two drug addict parents, one of them being bipolar having six kids? Well you get the Gilberts, a group of six siblings who despite their very broke...

You can interpret the roles in whatever way you wish in terms of appearance, personality, gender, basically make the character however you wish but it must include the info specified, anything else is up for interpretation!
Also these roles are just for season one! as there are more seasons I will add different side characters and roles so if you don't get a spot in season one you can apply again next season!

Another note: there will be no reserving roles or anything, the way this works is that you will apply with whatever role you want and I will pick the character I think works best for each role!
THE GILBERT FAMILY
GREY! Inspired by Frank Gallagher the father, male, drug addict, doesn't care much for his kids, 45-50, becomes slightly less of an asshole and starts appreciating his kids more in later seasons
WHITE! Inspired by Monica Gallagher the mother, female, divorced the dad and abandoned the kids when the oldest was young, also an addict, has bipolar disorder, usually comes back once a year, 45-50
PURPLE! Inspired by Fiona Gallagher oldest sibling, dropped out of high school to take care of their siblings, works multiple jobs, gets stressed very easily, supposed to be the responsible one but sometimes isn't, 18-21
BLUE! Inspired by Lip Gallagher second oldest, extremely intelligent, straight As and high GPA, often gets themselves into trouble despite their intelligence, doesn't want to go to college, makes bad judgements, drinks a lot of alcohol, a little self destructive sometimes, 16-18
PINK! Inspired by Ian Gallagher third oldest, inherited bipolar from their mother, reckless, closeted about their sexuality but the whole family already know, not super smart but can make up for it physically, 14-16, attracted to the same gender
YELLOW! Inspired by Debbie Gallagher third youngest, most responsible sibling, mature for their age, friendly, gets taken advantage of a lot, prefers hanging out with older people, will have a drastic change in their teens, 10-12
BLACK! Inspired by Carl Gallagher second youngest, least well behaved, delinquent, rebellious, constantly getting into trouble, gets suspended from school a lot, has occasional violent outbursts, can be good when they want to be, will mature a little as they get older, 8-10
ORANGE! Inspired by Liam Gallagher youngest sibling, the most 'normal', overprotected by their siblings, is shielded a lot from bad influences, has the best childhood out of everyone, has the most potential, will have lots of development, 6-8
THE KAMINSKI FAMILY
side note: the kaminskis are going to be of polish descent: in the show i think it's said that the milkovitches are like ukranian or something like that but they're going to be polish here!
RED! Inspired by Terry Milkovitch has anger issues, physically and mentally abused as a child, wife passed away, a single father, depressed, very strict, homophobic, will become a tiny bit nicer in later seasons, probably closeted, 45-55
VIOLET! Inspired by Mickey Milkovitch oldest Kaminski sibling, violent and aggressive, steals and shoplifts a lot, hot-headed & gets angry easily, overprotective of their younger siblings, closeted, attracted to the same gender, the antagonist and in later seasons a love interest for PINK!, 16-18
PLUM! Inspired by Mandy Milkovitch second oldest, not aggressive or violent but not necessarily good either, rebellious, mean and cold when first meeting them, very rude, sarcastic and has a dark sense of humour, also have a sweeter side around friends or family, has a crush on PINK! at first before finding out about their sexuality, 14-16
GREEN! Inspired by Iggy, Joey & Colin Milkovitch currently the only role which can have multiple people accepted for, the youngest siblings, basically completely open for interpretation (so kind of a blank slate role other than age and their family members), should be similar to their father in some ways, any age from 10-14
THE GARDNER FAMILY
MAROON! Inspired by Sheila Jackson
a history of mental illness, has ocd and agoraphobia which means they can't leave the house, a single mother after their divorce, is looked after by their kid, kind and friendly, as seasons progress they will slowly get over the agoraphobia, 40-50
BUBBLEGUM! Inspired by Karen Jackson acts sweet and innocent, typical 'kid/girl next door' vibes, actually very flirty and promiscuous, has multiple partners in the space of a few weeks, deep down they can be kind and helpful, looks after their parent and helps around the house, will have a drastic change in later seasons, 15-17
OTHER ROLES
GOLD! Inspired by Veronica Fisher neighbour to the Gilbert's, best friends with PURPLE!, helpful, smart, seen as being quite attractive, a little bit of a party animal, runs the local bar with their partner, is currently training to be a nurse, 20-23
TURQOISE! Inspired by Kevin Ball partner/love interest of GOLD!, bartender of the local bar with their partner, is usually nice, isn't super intelligent and can be manipulated fairly easily, sometimes gets very annoyed with the Gilbert's even if deep down he truly likes and appreciates them, 20-23
SILVER! Inspired by Jimmy Lishman aka Steve fairly attractive, rich, often determined and has a lot of nerve, is a frequent liar and also is currently lying about his true identity to win over PURPLE!, steals cars to make money, 18-21
NAVY! Inspired by Tony Markovich other neighbour to the Gilbert's, police officer, lives with his overbearing mother, helps out the family (aka they bribe him), they were the first love of PURPLE!, 21-25
