5. GET TOGETHER

"Heard what nicole?"
Calvin asked

"Yeah, what nicole?"
Nathan said too

     "That I'm adopted"
She said and frown

"What!"
Nathan shouted

"How come?"
Calvin asked

  "Guys relax." Nicole said "I just found out recently and my dad cleared it out to me."

   "Well, what did he say?"
Nathan asked

    "He said that my birth parents gave me away to my mom."

"Ohh so sorry to hear that."
     Calvin and Nathan said together.

"No worries guys, I'm alright and I've accepted it."
Nicole said and tried to fake a smile.

"But you do not look like one who is okay."
   Nathan said looking at her.

"Don't you worry nicole." Calvin started "No matter what we've learnt about you today, nothing has changed. we would not see or look at you differently you know."
      "you are still our very own Nicolet, our best friend."

   "Thanks, guys you both made my day."
Nicole said and smiled  this time for real.

   "So this calls for a group hug!"
Nathan said
      They all hugged and continued playing.

  "It's so nice to see you again, it's been long you know"
   Lucy (Calvin's mom) said

"Thank you so much for the pleasant surprise, you all have a sit."
   Emily said

"By the way emily, where is Philip?"
Larry (Nathan's dad) asked

"Darling you must have patience. I think philip is on his way now."
  Helen (Nathan's mom) said to her husband

"Yes, you're right, he is on his way."
Emily said to them

Philip finally showed up and asked
"Did i miss anything?"

"Speaking of which."
Raul (Calvin's dad) said and smiled

  "Nothing my friend, you missed nothing."
    Larry said

They laughed as they all sat down to discuss stuffs and business because they all are business partners.

    The most funny thing about this kids is that Calvin and Nathan are of the same age group with Nicole and Cassie. They are 8 years old and in their 5th grade.

   Nathan has this black curly hair and light blue eyes which makes him so cute.

    Calvin on the other hand, has this jet black hair with light brown eyes which makes him look so handsome.

    "Calvin!!!"
"Nathan!!!!!"
   Nicole screamed

"Yes, my princess"
Nathan said and winked at her

Calvin frown on seeing the both of them smiling together.

  Calvin and Nathan has long had a crush on nicole since their 4th grade.
But he can clearly see it in nicole's eyes that she really likes nathan.

  "But it's really hard to move on from nicole."
   Calvin said to himself

"Okay you guys, let's go ask my mom whether we can go swim by the pool."

   "Cool that's a pretty nice idea."
       Calvin said pretending to be happy.

"I'm bored here anyways."
  Nathan said too

They all went together to ask her.

  "Mom," Nicole said

"Yes darling, anything the matter?"

"No mom, is just that we want to ask whether we can go swim by the pool?"

   "Yeah, aunt please"
Calvin and Nathan chorused

"Okay, that's fine by me so far Cynthia watches you guys."

  "Thanks mom."

"Thanks auntie!"
  Calvin and Nathan said

As they all ran to the pool.

   Lucy began to laugh as Emily asked

"Lucy, what's up with the laugh?"

"Nothing dear, it's just that this kids look good together."
   "I mean, you may not know, one of the boys might end up with Nicole, your daughter."

  Philip and the others smiled while Emily said

  "Let's not rush into things like that yet."
"Let's just focus on the launching of our new branch in memorada tomorrow."

"Okay fine, but it was just a thought."
Lucy said

  "Bring the boys along because nicole is coming with us so that she would have someone to talk and play with."
    Philip said

  "Okay, I've heard"
Helen and Lucy said

  "And guess what?"
Emily cuts in with a smile on her face

"What!"
They all echoed except philip

"It was Nicole's drawings and designs that we use to create this new branch in memorada."

  "What do you mean by that emily?"
Helen asked and the others nodded

    "You know," Emily began
"When nicole didn't get any honour in her school's recognition day, her teacher called and advised us that we should encourage her in arts and drawing because she's really good at it."
    "So my mom bought a pile of drawing books for her."
   "When nicole visited the company for the first time she was kind of inspired when she got back home, she began to draw many beautiful shoes (designs)."
         "She (nicole) showed her dad, philip, the drawing she made. It was exactly what the company was looking for so there, we used it and we are launching it tomorrow."

  "You must be very proud of your daughter"
  Larry commented

"You have no idea how proud we are of our Nicolet, she's really a blessing to us."
    Philip said and smiled

"Look! There's a thief and he stole something."
