Oh boy..

This song sorta reminded me of Shino so yeah.

It's confusing how nobody's ever sparked my interest, then he comes out of nowhere and makes me feel a way I cannot describe.

The way his smile shines brighter than Naruto's makes my heart skip a beat. I can't stand how just thinking about him turns me bright red. I can't tell if I'm in love or if this is just my first crush. It's all so confusing because I've never felt this way about anyone let alone someone the same gender as me.

We've talked quite a few times, his voice is very soothing. And he's easy to talk to. He doesn't scream in fear whenever he sees my beetles. I remember a specific conversation between him and Sakura that I had.... overheard.

"Say, [Name], what do you look for in a girl?"
Sakura pondered staring at her friend with curiosity.

Though surprised by the suddenness of the question, [Name] flushed red and answered.

"Actually, I like guys. But if I do have to say, I don't really have a preference. I would like a pretty strong and good mannered guy though." he stated with a shy grin.

Though I do have room for improvement, I do believe I'm pretty strong. The manners part comes easily. So does that mean I'm his type? Damn it why am I even thinking like this? This is all so weird. I'll just sleep it off and maybe my mind will straighten itself out.....maybe. (pun intended)

"Shino, I've been meaning to speak to you!"

Fuck, I couldn't even get home. Guess I have to talk to him.

"Yes, what do you need"

He smiled, that god damn smile of his. I hate how much I love seeing it.

"Great! I'm throwing a sort of celebration for me moving here! I was wondering if you could make it there?"

"Depends. When is it."

"It's in a good week or two, but I'll be sending actual letters with the information."

He looks oddly nervous. I'll just say I'll go so he doesn't feel bad. Yeah.

"Okay, I don't think I have anything planned"

If it's even possible he smiled even brighter, good thing he can't see my face or he would know how flustered he makes me.

"Cool! I'll see you then!"

I nodded as he ran off waving. I should head home before someone else stops me.

Oh my archons he actually accepted! I'm so happy I wouldn't be surprised if there was heart floating around me.

Now, I have to ask some more people. I wasn't actually gunna throw a party, guess I am now though! I'll invite my new friends. Speak of the devil here comes Choji and Shikamaru!

"Hey you two! Got a minute?"

"Hey- And yeah I guess we have time, what's up [Name]?"

Shikamaru was oddly in a more formal attire compared to his usual black everything with a green vest outfit. Choji was too busy chewing to speak.

"I was wondering if you guys could make it to my party! I'm celebrating me moving here."

"When is it, and is there food?"

"Yes, lots. I'll be trying to get something everyone likes. So I'll be getting a favorite dish of everyone. It's in a week or two and I'll be sending an actual letter with more information."

Choji smiles and nods implying he'll be there. I look at Shikamaru waiting for a response. He looks like he's pondering it. If he can't make it, just means less money spent.

"I might be able to make it, not sure though."

"That's alright, I understand you might have work or other things"

I give him a reassuring smile, nodding.

"Cya, we have a meeting with the village's elders"

"Sounds exciting, good luck!"

I wave goodbye as they walk off. Who else? Ino wouldn't miss a party for her life, Sakura could make it, Hinata coming just depends on her parents. Kiba, I'm not too sure of. Guess we'll ask Kiba then just head home and make the letters.

Home at last! Now I have to get writing. Where should I plan it? I hear they let people rent out my shrine for their kids parties. Then we'll plan it there! I should also set up an actual date.
