Prologue

Long ago, in the middle of the biggest conflict any nation had seen since the second World War, a lone child marked the beginning of a new age, an age of heroes. This child was born wreathed in light. Many other children found themselves in situations where they had awakened some alien power, a power that we now call a 'quirk'. These quirks popped up so frequently through the years after that the 'quirkless' grew scared that these people would overthrow them. Conflict arose between the factions, and it all peaked when there were two white haired boys. One was quirkless and the other had the power to take and give away quirks. The quirkless one was terminally ill, and the quirked grew an army of followers that carried out his bidding. He became the first ever 'supervillan', but he was opposed by someone close to him... his own brother. The younger of the two siblings wanted to stop his brother from being this villanous figure, and for them to live normally, but in rage, the older of the two locked the other away, and bestowed a quirk on his sibling, the ability to stockpile power. What both didn't know was that the youngest, in fact, did have a quirk. He had the ability to pass on quirks via DNA transfer. A useless power on its own, but when paired with this stockpile quirk, it created a power known to very few. A power called One For All. This power granted the current Number One Hero the ability to take down the older brother, but it came with a cost. This hero was gravely injured in the battle, and is now limited to a small portion of the day. But it was all worth it thanks to the defeat of the older brother... right?
