Muzan POV

Those pesky hashira my attacks weren't enough to kill them their wounds should have been fatal but their are not dead, Tamayo's demon treating them so they can fight to the death, I was so furious that I can't kill them straight.

But this boy's fault I couldn't finish it off. No it's not just him, The members of the demon slayer corps are linked like beads in a rosary. That organization is like a living creature seeking to catch me in coils.

"Caw thirty- five minutes (35) until dawn" that stupid crow yelled flying around. This fight is over, I need not to risk this any longer. As I tried to swayed away this boy he intends to do something, maybe he...."Iguro Muzan is dividing" Tanjiro yelled as I was ready to blow my self up and escape "He's trying to break into smaller pieces and escape!!".

But then I unexpectedly stop? Why?.....I can't divided? Until I realized something, I see there's a third substance in Tamayo's drugs, Human regression and Division prevention.

That Vixen!! "I'm sorry but you're wrong" I looked where she was standing on I felt a intense pain in my waist where she injected the drugs 'Shit!!' I cough up blood and I starting to feel something I can't explain it.

"Their were four substances after the three weakened you, the fourth will begin cell destruction. Your most hated thing, death is now close".

"There is no need to be stronger to than you to kill you, weakening you is good enough"

"Just as you will do anything to live I, no we will do anything to kill you" she softly said to me.

I plastered a smirk tried to hide the pain that rushing thru my veins "Maybe next time?".

I let my self to shift in my Woman self to keep my energy remain, But what I didn't expect what happened right now there's a big black hole that suddenly suck me in I was too weak to prevent that to happen, I was falling to the dark abyss 'Is this some kind of Demon art? But I was the only one left....'

I let my self fall and landed on a hard concrete which causes my head to bleed I tried to stood up but I can't "W-who's t-there??" A male voise stuttered I glance where he was standing, he was trembling in fear and there's a girl besides him looking at me with sympathy.

I hate those look, as much as I want to scoop their eyes out but....why I can't bring my self to lay my hands on them. "You-".

'Shitt!!' and my eye sight went black.

The shadow of death has loomed over me, always stuck to me my heart stopped countless times inside of my mother's womb. When I was born they said I was stillborn, there was no pulse nor breathing in that moment they we're ready to bury me. But I fought, I keep fighting.....untill I cried for the first time.

But I have done everything I expected to do all that has been happening, but what I could do is limited. "Ubuyashiki" I've got admit what you said was right only memories are eternal, immortal. You were right. I can't even remember a single murdered person. When the body dies, everything is over.

Takemichi POV

We both got startled when there's a loud thud upstairs "What was that?" Hinata said "I don't know let's check it out" it's still day time so there's no thief right?.

As were standing infront where the loud thud came from it was in my room "Open it" Hinata said as I shook my head "N-No Y-you open it" I stuttered causing her to chuckled "Hey it's not funny what if there's a intruder?" I defended.

As she open the door, "Who's there?" I said our eyes landed on a bloddy figure of a female who look like the same age of me she has curly black hair, and sharp, almond-shaped eyes. Her irises are cat-like in appearance and colored plum red. "You-" she didn't finish her sentence when her eyes roll back.

Hinata quickly catches her "Takemichi kun quick go and called some help!!".

She was sent to the hospital and the nurses ask us some questions about her but we both don't know who she was. The others look at us suspiciously and me having no choice "S-she's my cousin and I don't know what happened to her!!" The nurses and doctors seems convince and they start to treat her wounds.

Muzan POV

I was so annoyed because the beeping sound disturb my sleep, As I open my eyes "Where am I?" My eyes roam around the room and I saw my kimono and Kanzashi.

I observed the small room but I notice something, it looks new and what's this thing that attach to my arms and face?. I was about to remove it but a hand stop it "Please don't take it off you're still not in a good condition " I glance at her and surprisedly I listened.

There's a peaceful silence between us and I like it I close my eyes and take a deep breath. "Ah miss?" The girl besides me said "The name is Kibutsuji Muzan" I said and sternly look at her "Ah My name is Tachibana Hinata, nice to meet you" she said I nod and look at the close curtains.

"Do you want me to open the curtains?" And she stood up causing me to panic "Wait!!" I anxiously said I was hesitate for a moment but I agree to her to open the curtains.

The warm sunlight kisses my face, and I sigh I'm not officially a human but not a demon too. I successfully save my life by shifting myself and shrinking to keep my energy remain.

"Kibutsuji san I'm not being rude but" I know she feel hesitate to tell me I can smell her fear "Y-your wounds suddenly healed when the doctors was about to treat it" she bit her lips and look down "And you recover so was and the doctor said it's not normal, so you might be only exhausted and you will be discharged today afternoon" she finished.

I smirk I'm still strong but not as strong before "What do you mean Tachibana san" I said and she start trembling in her spot "A-are you a Demon Kibutsuji san?" "And what makes you think that?" I said as much as I want to play her emotion but I can't bring myself to do it.

She pointed behind me and I look at it where she was pointing out. "Ohh...." It wasn't a normal shadow it was my demon shadow, I'm physically mortal but mentally immortal.

I look at her and smile "I meant no harm Tachibana san and seems like you already know the answer" I said and sat up. There's a knock on the door we both look at it who was the new person.

"T-takemichi kun?" "Oh Hinata she's awake what the fuck is that!!!" He screech causing me to wince "Takemichi kun calm down!!".
