Asher walked across campus to the math building. He saw people talking and mingling around him, but ignored them as he walked to his favorite class. Asher walked into the big lector hall and looked around at the seats, seeing a lot of available ones. He decided to sit in the middle, so he wasn't too close or too far from the projector. Asher quietly prepared before class started by taking his his books, pencils, ruler, protractor, and calculator. The Professor walked into the room and immediately started teaching,

"Crap crap crap." Someone said next to him followed by a bunch of items being thrown to the floor in front of Asher. Asher took multiple small glances out of the corner of his eye, until,

"Do you have a pencil?" Asher felt someone tap on his shoulder and he looked to his left. Asher felt like his heart stopped completely, he took in the boy sitting next to him. blond hair, the same brown eyes, perfect complexion. It's like he was looking at his mother.

"Uhm..." The guy said, at least that's what Asher thought he said. He barely registered that the guy was waving a hand in front of his face. Asher turned away, ignoring him.

"Ok?" Asher heard the guy say. Asher subconsciously bounced his leg, as the guy next to him grabbed his stuff that was thrown. He tried to ignore that fact that this guy's head was basically right at his crotch, but at the same time he was extremely tense and nervous.

Cain grumbled to himself as he picked up his things. He hates math class, mostly because he's always been awful at it. During the lesson, Cain had no idea what was happening.

"This is what I get for being homeschooled my whole life." He said to himself. Cain had to keep himself from crying, he took a peek at the guy next to him. He didn't seem to be struggling at all. Cain put his hand in his hair and questioned whether he wanted to tap him on the shoulder, but then remembered how he ignored him.

"I'll just suffer then." Cain said, looking at the huge board. "Oh my god, I hate math." Cain just sat through the whole math class with his head on the desk. One of his other friends noticed,

"Are you okay dude?" They asked.

"No, I'm gonna fail math, flunk college then live as a gay house husband for my rich working hunk of man candy." Cain said, turning his head. Cain's friend grinned and chuckled,

"I don't think so. That's not how it works."

"Maybe not for you." Cain said back, giving him a cheeky smile. His friend rolled his eyes.

"Do your math." He said.

"Tristan help me." Cain whispered.

"Don't you know what you're doing?" Cain's friend Tristan asked. Cain gave him an awkward grin.

"How did you pass high school and your first year of college?" Tristan asked,

"Homeschool?" Cain shrugged. Tristan rolled his eyes again then stared forward, paying attention to what the Professor was talking about. After 30 minutes, Cain finally got some help from a girl sitting behind him, When class was over Cain sighed with relief. Cain stood up and walked out of the classroom, he walked passed the guys he asked for a pencil earlier. He was quietly packing up his things.

Asher stood up after packing his things. The guy that was sitting next to him was long gone, making Asher sigh with relief. He walked out of the classroom and saw the guy from class in the hallway, he was hugging and kissing another student.

"He has a boyfriend?" Asher said to himself before walking away. He didn't catch Cain looking at him as he walked passed their group of friends.

"Who are you looking at?" He heard someone ask.

"Oh, just a guy from my math class. You don't need to worry about anything, Aaron." Cain's voice rang through the hallway. Aaron, a name Asher was gonna remember. For reasons Asher did not yet know.
