In lupine and human form, Jodie possesses supernatural strength, grace, speed and reflexes. When Turned, she has strong claws and canines. Jodie also has the same unnaturally accelerated healing abilities that most other Downworlders possess.
Description: Straight brown hair that goes to shoulders, fair skin, brown eyes (change to a magical green when tapping into her werewolf side).
WOLF FORM: Bronze-brown fur with vivid, otherwordly green eyes. (I AM SUCH A SUCKER FOR BROWN WOLVES OH MY GOSH)
Random Trivia (that I as the writer delight in writing):
- If Jodie could have a parabatai, it would be Lydia; the two are best friends. Lydia's lack of Shadowhunter parabatai is because she cannot have that official with Jodie; meaning Lydia does not have a Shadowhunter counterpart to the friendship she has found with Jodie.
- Nicknames Izzy "Belle" and "Sa'belle/Sable" as a joke .
- In turn, Izzy nicknames Jodie "Delle", "O'delle" or even "Deli/Dellie", the lattermost of which Jodie is not fond of, which means Izzy calls her Deli a lot
- Jodie bonds with Maryse as the latter gets better and less strict over time; eventually, Jodie comes to think of Maryse as her own mother, and delights in the time they spend with each other. Maryse reciprocates this feeling, making it clear that she loves Jodie like her own daughter (and is no stranger to the way Jodie looks at her actual daughter...)
- Sapphic panic over Camille, Izzy and Lydia (because Jodie is a hopeless lesbian at heart). Also Clary (in a Raph-panicking-over-Hope kind of way in Legacies)
- Teases Izzy to Hell and back about her fear of rats (to which Izzy is always clarifying, "repulsion!")
- At some point for their like one month anniversary or something, Jodie got Izzy and herself matching rings:At first Jodie gave Izzy the angel ring since she as a Shadowhunter is part angel, and Jodie herself as a Downworlder possesses demon blood; but Izzy shook her head as she took the bat-winged ring instead.
"Sure. How come?" Jodie asked as Izzy slipped the black ring on her finger.
"I know I'm part angel," Izzy smirked, "but let's be honest, Jodie – I'm the badass in this relationship." The Shadowhunter admired the demonic-style ring on her slender finger, smiling.
"Excuse you, Miss Musophobia," Jodie sassed in good fun, "I can literally turn into a wolf. That's, like, the stuff of nightmares right there."
"I'm not afraid of rats, I am repulsed," Izzy insisted, her smile widening. "Also, wasn't it just yesterday when you nearly cried because you saw a rabbit?"
"That's not fair!" Jodie argued. "He was so tiny and fluffy! You, Miss Sa'belle, are just heartless and cold." She crossed her arms to accentuate her point.
"Ah, then the ring suits me!" Izzy beamed, her grin triumphant.
"Damn it!" Jodie yelled in defeat, making the Shadowhunter burst into laughter.
"Oh, never change, Jodie," Izzy smiled as she kissed her girlfriend.
