chapter nine

It's been a few weeks since the funerals and you and randy were let out of the hospital ,you were still grieving and you couldn't really sleep properly due to the nightmares you kept having

You started to make yourself busy just to take your mind off things ,you were currently in your room sitting on your bed playing your Nintendo 64 playing Mario kart 64

You were so into the game that you were startled and almost dropped your Nintendo when you heard a knock on your door "the door's open!"you called out and the door open revealing randy and the random guy from the party

"Hey" you greeted "hey m/n" randy greeted "you remember the guy you were fanboying with right?" You nodded "Am mickey " he introduced himself and you shook his head "Am sorry about you friend's " you nodded "thanks"you mumble "is this them?you guy's seemed really close" mickey said picking up a pictureframe from the table and looking at it

"Yeah ...they were like my brother's " you said ,you knew the picture he grabbed by heart ,it was taken a year ago ,stu had wanted to get some ice cream but he didn't want to go along,so he dragged you and billy with him ,neither of you complain about it

You had taken the picture,you were laughing as stu had an ice cream cone on his head and he was laughing and pointing at billy who looked angry because of the ice cream all over his face but the camera caught his smile in the picture

Mickey put the photo back down and looked around your room

"Wow cool is this batman?"mickey question and you nodded ,you had batman the animated series toy's on your walls ,your desk was full of comics and besides your desk were boxes full of comics as well and next to your closet you had a bookshelf full of VHS movies and mickey walked over and scanned the movies before grabbing invasion of the body snatchers

"You actually like this one?" Mickey question "Oh he loves it" randy said
"Hey you remember that time you wouldn't trust your mom for a week" randy said with a chuckle and mickey looked at you with a raises eyebrow

"Hey I was 7 okay, that movie scared me and I thought my mom was a pod person so I didn't trust her till a week later "you explained and mickey chuckle "now we're are so watching this" he said before going over to the TV and putting in the movie while randy makes himself conformable in one of the bean bags on the floor and soon mickey joined and settled himself in the other bean bag as the movie soon started

You couldn't help but remember the first time you watched this movie with billy and stu

--flash back ,they're 7 years old----

" m/n don't be such a scary cat,this is movie is gonna rock " a 7 year old stu said before sitting down next you
"Have you watch it before?" You question "no" stu answered "you idoit!you can't just tell him the movie is gonna rock if you haven't seen it" a 7 year old billy said shaking his head

"Well we're watching it aren't we" stu said popping a popcorn in his mouth

At the end of the movie all three of you were scared though billy was trying to act tough and acted like he wasn't scared
"What if..what if you guy's become pod people?" You question looking at billy and stu "no way,if I ever become a pod person you'll know" stu said and billy nodded in agreement just as the door open and three of you screamed which caused whoever open the door to scream

"Pod people!"the three of you screamed rushing to the corner of the room all huddle up together before the three of you heard a sigh and you realized it was just your mother "mom?oh thank God,don't scare us like that we thought you were pod people" you said

"Pod people?we're you guy's watching invasion of the body snatchers?" She question and you three nodded and she laughed "no wonder you three we're scared but don't worry no pod people are gonna get us...you know why?" The three of you shook heads and she smiled "because am gonna protect all of you ,they have to get through me first before getting to the three of you" she said "thanks mom" you hugged her and billy and stu hugged her as well

---end of flashback----

You guy's had met randy a few weeks later after that and you guys didn't trust randy because at first you thought he was pod people and randy didn't trust you guy's because he thought you guy's were pod people but in the end neither were pod people but you guys became great friends

You noticed that you literally spaced out though out the whole movie and you only caught the ending line before it ended

"That was awesome " mickey said "yeah,I think m/n has the remake here too we should watch that" randy said getting up to look for the remake
"Most of the remakes are bad ,the originals are way better " mickey said
You figured that he probably didn't like a lot of remakes movies

The three of you watched the remake movie of invasion of the body snatchers and you laughed to yourself as mickey got scared at the end of the movie ,he turned to face you "okay I can see why you love this movie ,it's scary especially the part where the kid's are gonna become pod people" he said

"Do you want to know what makes this so scary?" You said "what?" He question as randy listen in "because the end of the world is the end of the mankind well the end of the human race basically "you said

Randy and mickey shared a look and you cleared your throat "thanks for stopping by ,mabye this is the start of a new friendship " you said and mickey smiled "mabye" randy cleared his throat and looked at you and mickey looked at randy

"What's the last thing you remember from the party m/n?" Randy question and you took a deep breath

"I saw..I saw the killer kneeling right infront of me and then ...then stu came out of nowhere and started to attack him and then I just black out " you said and he nodded

"Sorry I just wanted to know" randy said and you nodded "it's okay ....anways if you guy's don't have anything better to do...who's up for watching the blob?"
