"Kids, breakfast! Kids!" Claire shouted "Ugh, Phil, would you get them?"

"Yeah. Just a sec" Phil said busy at the phone

"Kids!" Claire shouted once again

"That is so... Kids! Get down here!"Phil yelled

"Why are you guys yelling at us when we're way upstairs? Just text me"Haley said entering the kitchen

"Alright, that's not gonna happen and wow, you're not wearing that outfit" Claire said looking at her oldest daughter

"What's wrong with it?"

"Honey, do you have anything to say to your daughter about her skirt?"Claire asked her husband

"Sorry. Oh yeah, it looks really cute, sweetheart" He said looking away from the cellphone

"Thanks"

"Claire: No, it's way too short. People know you're a girl; you don't need to prove it to them" Claire said

"Mom" Emma said entering the kitchen with a book in her hands

"Yes, honey?"

"Is it okay if Madison and Grace are coming over today?" Grace asked
sitting at the table

"Yeah, sure" Claire said handing her a plate

"Cool"

"Luke got his head is stuck in the banister again" Alex said entering the kitchen

"I got it. Where's the baby oil?" Phil asked

"It's on our bedside tab- I dunno. Find it" Claire answered making another plate of breakfast for Alex

"Buddy, why do you keep getting stuck like this?" Phil asked Luke trying to get him unstuck

"I thought I could get out this time" Luke answered

"Is this finally the time you understand you can't?" Emma asked going downstairs with a book on her hands, looking up from it to fake smile at Luke

"I'm just gonna say it, he needs to be checked by a specialist" Alex said following after her

"There. Be free, Excalibur" Phil said as Luke was now free

"I'm having a friend over today" Haley said going upstairs

"Who?" Claire asked

"Uh, you don't know him" Haley answered

"Him. Him?" Claire asked once again

"Oooh, a boy. You're gonna kiss-" Luke teased her

"Shut up!" Haley yelled at him

"Easy, easy" Phil said

"Emma,Luke, Alex, why don't you take it outside, okay?" Claire said

"And do what?" Alex asked

"Fight in the sun; it'll be a nice change. I'm kidding" Phil said

"I'm reading" Emma said still not looking up from the book

"So, go read outside" Claire said

"Why would I?"

"Emma"

"Allright" Emma sighed

"Mom! Dad!" Alex yelled running in the house

"What happened?"

"Luke just shot me!"
