Prompt: 7 year old Y/N Stark wants to be with her dad in the lab

"My daddy has the coolest job in the whole world! He's Ironman!" You told all your friends at school, "Well Y/N, maybe he'll come to career day on Friday" your teacher suggested, "Yeah!" You agreed, making sure to bring it up at dinner. "Daddy Friday is career dayyyy" "And you want me to go?" "Yeah!" You responded, "Alright, I'll be there" "YAY!!"

*Fast forward to Friday*

Your teacher saved the best for last, "Y/N's father, Mr. Stark!" *CHEERING 🤩🥳👏*
(Tony does his whole spiel about being Ironman) "Wow Y/N! I wanna be like your daddy when I grow up!" your friend Oliver said, "Me too!" Nate said, "Me three!" Jamie added, it made you super happy because you loved your dad with all your heart.

*Next day*

You skipped down the stairs in search of your dad, you found him in the lab, he was working on a suit. "Hiiii!" "You know you're not supposed to be down here kiddo" he reminded you for what was probably the thousandth time in your life, "But I wanna watch you work" you told him for the 100th time in his life, he was going to say no but thought about his childhood.

(Flashback)

"Dad please— I just want to you work.."
"No Anthony! Go with your mother"

(Current time)
Stark's P.O.V

I don't want to be like my dad, I want Y/N to have plenty positive experiences with me, I shouldn't pass up the chance now. "Okay
Y/N/N" "YAY!!" I set aside a space for her to watch me work, "I wanna make something" she stated, I gave her things to deconstruct and rebuild, because #womeninSTEM she was quick. "Can I help with the suit?" My daughter asked, I let her draw a blue print for it, the absolute joy on her face was magnificent. From then, I always let her help me in the lab.

(A few year later still Tony's P.O.V)

Thanos is here with Squidward, we're not doing very well. "I am inevitable" *snap* "NOO!" Once I reached back on Earth, I learned that Y/N was gone. She blipped away with half of the population. My heart is broken, Y/N is the light of my life, I need to get her back.

(Five years later)

All hope is lost, Nat is gone, there's barely anyone left to help in the battle against Thanos. All of a sudden there's sparks.. in— a circle... The wizard.. I see people walking out of portals, all of the Avengers that were lost. Is that Y/N? She not an Avenger.. "DAD?!?" She called out, "Y/N!" I ran to her and engulfed her into a tight hug, "I missed you dad" she cried, "I missed you too honey.. W- what are you doing on the field?" "They all taught me how to fight so uh.. I guess I'm an Avenger now" Y/N smiled, I missed that smile. "AVENGERS!" Capsicle yelled, "Assemble" I'm the quietest way possible 🤨. "HHYAA!!" Thor released a battle cry, they ran forward, Wanda, Rhodey, Sam, and I took to the sky. It was working, we actually had a chance. "I am inevitable" purple grape said, *snap* nothing happened. "What?" He was very confused, I dropped to my knees, "And I— am Ironman" "DAD NO!!" *snap* there was a flash of light, ships fell from the sky, Thanos began to dissolve before my eyes. I was leaned the against a boulder, I could feel my energy being drained, "We did it Mr.Stark, we won." Peter said, "Promise me you will take care of Y/N, Pete" "I- I will" my vision was beginning to blur. I saw a figure running towards me, "Daddy, please. Don't go" she pleaded "I'm sorry
Y/N, I love you tons" "I love you 3000" she hugged me and bawled onto my shoulder, it hurt me to leave her but I had no option. "Goodbye Y/N" "Bye dad" 🥺

Your P.O.V

Peter and I had a son together, we named him Anthony— after my dad. I take Anthony to the lab with me everyday and let him help me make new technology just like I did when I was his age. I love him 3000
