Forbidden love

Chapter 1

Millie's pov

It's my first day at SIX rehearsals and I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty nervous. You see I have awful anxiety and huge trust issues thanks to my ex-boyfriend. For a bit of contex, he abused me and even got me pregnant- I had twin girls and I called them Elizabeth and Katheryn-. We broke up a year ago and I still struggle with the consequenses of being a survivor of abuse. I told Lucy everything as I saw it fitting for her to know but I refused to tell Toby. I just hope I can get through the rehearsals without having a panic attack.

I arrive at the studio and sign in quickly. I'm asked if I know where I'm going and I respond with 'Sorry, I don't.'

'Don't apologise.' the woman says 'I'll show you to studio A, thats where rehearsals are for today' she smiles at me

I nod my head 'Thank you.'

We walk down a few corridors and eventually get to Studio A. I see a few groups in there and I assume that one is the rest of the cast, one is the directors and dance choreographer and that the others are just people who are helping get this musical ready for the tour or are backstage.

'Thank you' I murmur to the woman and push open the door. I make sure that you can't tell how worried I am- something I do quite often- and force a smile onto my face. I see Lucy and walk over to her as I don't know who anyone other then Toby is. 

'Hey Millie! You alright?' she questions me 'Do you want me to introduce you to the rest of the cast?'

'Hey Lucy. I'm ok, you? And yes, can you introduce me to the others?'

'I'm good, thank you. And of course I can introduce you to the others! I must tell you though. I thought it would be good if someone in the cast knows what you have been through incase something happens and I'm not around to help. I told the nicest person in the cast and the woman I trust most with this information. I really hope you don't mind.' Lucy starts ranting to me. To be honest, I am a bit annoyed that she didn't ask but I understand her lodgic.

'Its fine' I tell her 'Just no one else please. I really don't want everyone to know. I'll tell them when I'm ready.' 

'Alright, alright. C'mon let's introduce you to the rest of the cast. We'll go in queen order!' she smiles again and bounces over to a group of six women and I must admit, the blonde one is gourgous. 

'Alright everyone. This is Millie O'connell and she is our green queen, Anne Boleyn!' They all smile at me and I smile back feeling more at ease knowing that Lucy is there to protect me incase anything happens.' Ok, so why don't you all introduce yourselves to our BoBo in queen order?' Lucy questions and takes a seat in the nearest chair. Toby comes over and sits in the chair next to her. I just hover behind Lucy unsure on what to do. 

A girl stands up and I guess she is playing Aragon. I love history and know almost everything there is to know about the six wives of Henry the VIII.

'I'm Jarneia Richard-Noel but you can just call me Jaye'J. I am playing Catherine of Aragon'

Jaye'J sits down and the blonde stands up. She smiles kindly at me before speaking.

'Wecolme to Six! I'm Natalie Paris and I'm playing the third queen: Jane Seymour.'

She sits down and I feel like I can already trust her. I take a deep breath as the next woman stands up.

'Hello there, I'm Alexia Mcintosh but just call me Lexi or Lex, I'm only Alexia when I'm in trouble!' I smile at that 'I will be playing the German queen: Anna of Cleves.'

She sits down and the woman next to Natalie stands up. 

'I'm Aimie Atkinson. I am playing your beheaded cousin: Katheryn Howard.'
