ALICE CULLEN LOVED HER SISTER, WELL MORE LIKE SHE ADORED HER. Although she didn't remember much of her human life, she did remember a little about her sister, Cynthia. She knew that when she turned, she would never be able to see her again. She was alone.

Then she met Jasper, and while she wasn't alone anymore - she missed that sisterly bond that she had with Cynthia.

And then Rebekah walked into her life and suddenly, Alice wasn't alone anymore. Not only had she gained loving new parents, a new sister, and two new brothers - she had gained an ever-faithful little sister in the form of Rebekah McCarthy-Cullen.

Alice sighed as she watched Jasper and Rebekah chase each other around from where she was perched on one of the many trees that was located in Denver Colorado. The two vampires knew she was there, but they paid her no mind as they continued their game of manhunt.

The fairy-like girl felt awful. Not only had she lost a new friend and potential sister, but her sadness also seemed to eat away at Rebekah as well. But, at least now her sister seemed to smile more often than she had been since Emmett, Rose, and Edward had left.

When Alice had first met Rebekah they clicked so instantly that you would have thought that they were sisters by blood. Rebekah had been sweet and offered to give up her room to Alice and Jasper so that the two would have a private place of their own.

"I can't let you do that." Alice shook her head and Rebekah only chuckled with a crinkle of her nose.

"I insist, Alice. Besides, me and Edward can room together until we figure something out." Rebekah put a hand on the small vampire's shoulder, giving her a gentle smile all the while. "You and Jasper are family now."

'Your family now.' Alice smiled as she replayed the memory in her head over and over again. It reminded her of when Rebekah had found her after she and Jasper had gotten into a slight argument. The two hardly bickered, but when they did - it always made Alice feel smaller than she was.

Alice didn't look up when Rebekah sat down beside her. The two stared at the ocean as they let their legs dangle over the high cliffs of Oregon.

The little seer was waiting for her younger sister to say something, but she never did. Instead, Rebekah just wrapped her arm around Alice's shoulder and the smaller girl couldn't take it anymore.

She broke down into sobs in Rebekah's arms - who just held her.

And when Alice pulled away, apologizing softly, Rebekah only shook her head and cupped her cheeks.

"Your family now, Alice. My sister and I will always be there for you."

Now Alice watched as Rebekah jumped over Jasper, leaping from tree to tree - laughing as she went and she smiled softly.

"I will always be there for you to Rebekah...

...always."
