"Okay, so let me get this straight, it comes out from Wherever, to eat kids for like, a year?, and then what it just goes into hibernation?" Eddie says "Maybe it's like, what do you call it?, cicadas, you know, the bugs the come out every 17 years" Stanley says
"No, nothing like that" I say "My grandfather thinks this town is cursed, he says that all the bad things that happen in this town are because of one thing, an evil thing that feeds off the people of Derry" Mike says
"Yeah but how would he know" I say trying to make a point "But it can't be one thing, we all saw something different" Stanley says "Maybe, or maybe it knows what scares us most and that's what we see" Mike says
"I-I saw a leper, he was like a walking infection" Eddie says "But you didn't" Stanley says as we all look at him "But he di-" I say getting cut off "Because it isn't real, none of this is, not eddies leper, o-or bill seeing Georgie, o-or the women I keep seeing" Stanley says "Is she hot" Richie asks "No, richie, she's not hot, her face is all messed up, none of this makes any sense, there all like bad dreams" Stanley says

Eddie asks "Yes, you know that burnt down house on harris avenues" Mike asks as we all nod "I was in it when it burnt down, before I was rescued, my mom and dad were trapped in the room over from me, they were pushing and pounding on the door, trying to get to me, but it was to hot, when the fireman finally found them, the skin on their hands had melted down to the bone" Mike says, poor kid
"We're all afraid of something" Mike says "Got that right" Richie says as he looks over his shoulder "Why rich, what are you afraid of" Eddie asks "Clowns" Richie says "What about you yn" Richie asks
"Uhm.. spiders" I lie "Uhm, guys" I say
"Yeah"
"Well a few days before Georgie went missing, my sister Lia went missing" I mumble loud enough for everyone to hear "Oh.., why didn't you tell us" Richie asks "I don't know" I say.
