Welcome to my second book of poetry. This collection of poems will focus around feminism and the power of women and other feminists working together to better the world.
Feminism is sometimes followed by a negative connotation when in reality it's just people wanting men and women to be treated equally, to have the same respect, to be judged fairly, to have equal rights.
With everything going on in the world around us I needed a place to put my thoughts and feelings. Some of these poems are written from anger and sadness while others are written from happiness and determination.
A few of the poems I've included may be raw and incomplete but that is just to show that what we are all feeling is okay. It is okay to not know how to process our emotions. It's okay to be angry and upset. But within all our emotions we need to speak up and fight for what we want.
I hope you enjoy this book of poetry and that it may help you heal and process what is happening to the women in the world we are living in.
