Feeling what you feel . Seeing what you see . Hoping what you hope . Your characteristics can't change from someone's opinion or comments unless you give them the power too . You can't just ignore them because I know that may be difficult but you can try to forget about it or answer back to them . Tell them that you don't give them the power to do it , tell them they can't change you . Because in all reality , they can't .if you let them push u down once they will come around at every chance they get to do it again . One day instead of pushing you they will step on u instead . I learned this lesson while learning how to color , while my hearted learned to flutter , while my life was thrown the gutter. I noticed when it was too late . I noticed when everything was crumbling under my feet . I noticed when the sky grew dark and unwelcomed me into that place I used to call home . That's why I'm here for you as a writer and as a friend to stop you from being stepped on - Leyla
