After school after class. As usual, I was wasting my time in an empty classroom in order to get a chance encounter with Elizabeth.
In the past, he used to use the empty classroom on the second floor a lot, but recently he's moved from one classroom to another after meeting Edward and Ulysse. He told Harold to feel free to tell him if anything happened, but he didn't want to meet him face to face. I'm tired because I can't keep up with things like there's something behind it...
That's why I decided to act separately from Harold today, and I stepped into the geography classroom used by third-year students alone.

As soon as I opened the door and took a step forward, I thought, oh my god. There was a shadow in the classroom.
A young lady was sitting in a seat by the wall that could not be seen from the corridor. Her straight bangs are dark in color and a bit uncouth in volume, obscuring her downcast face.
The person suddenly raised his head and looked at me――.

"Ah, Higyaah!?!?"

Just when I thought he let out a strange scream, he threw out the paper in his hand.
I don't recognize the face that opened its eyes in surprise. But from the panic, they know me, and probably because of something bad.
I picked up a piece of paper that flew to my feet and dropped my gaze.
And I open my eyes too.

"What is this?"
"Gyaa――――!! Please don't look at me!!"

The squares of paper were densely filled with methodical letters, among which the letters “Vincent” and “Elizabeth” were dancing.
This must be referring to me and Elizabeth.

"... you, would you like me to tell you what's going on?"
"Hi!"

When I glared at him with dignity, the strange lady began to tremble. She fell out of her chair and sat on the floor, unable to escape.
I look at the paper again to scrutinize the contents. Then she realized. This is a novel. The text is written in the style of the novel, and it seems that Vincent and Elizabeth in the novel are in the castle town.
With the bare minimum of escort, the two go shopping harmoniously, eat street sweets, and walk hand in hand in a small park. When the wind blows, Vincent gives his coat to Elizabeth...
……Isn't this the secret date I've been dreaming of for a long time?

"Before I tell you what it is, would you like me to continue?"
"Hi! Huh, yes...?"

The young lady cringed with her outstretched hand and tilted her head to the side with a pale face on it.

 An hour later.
After collecting all the manuscript papers scattered on the floor and confirming the contents, I was at the mercy of two different thoughts.
She called herself the daughter of Viscount Serena Haven, and was writing a long story about the nonexistent flirting life of me and Elizabeth. She's read an hour and she says she hasn't finished a quarter of the way through.
Should I say that I will be punished for blasphemy?
Should I say do your best for the rest?
In my heart, I want to push the latter, but I can't.
Thanks to the recent re-reading of Otsusei, I understood immediately.

Miss Serena is the author of Otsusei.
A few minor quirks point to the same author.

Miss Serena's face turned pale and stiff as I stood still with my arms crossed with a difficult face. Her frightened eyes and her tight lips are like a sinner waiting to be executed.
It's not as bad as Edward's, but I don't really want to make a woman look like that either.

"... For now, let's hear the circumstances."
"Hibee. Please have mercy..."

When he relaxed his face and returned it to his usual soft expression of the "Crown Prince", Miss Serena spoke softly while raising a strange voice.
It is said that Miss Serena's parents' house is a viscount family, but the living is poor, and Miss Serena has been supporting her livelihood by doing manuscripts since she was young. In time she came across various books, and she even wrote her own. She has sold several books so far and has become her daily sustenance.
Serena, who entered the royal academia, comes up with a full-length novel after witnessing the glittering lives of the aristocrats.
That is "The Holy Maiden Makes Stars Fall in the Night Sky".

"I'm sorry... I used the appearances of His Highness the Crown Prince and my fiancée because they were in a position far removed from mine, so it was just an admiration... However, he entered the school. Seeing the two of you being aloof, I thought I did something outrageous..."

Miss Serena spoke desperately even though she was about to faint at any moment. Her tears were running down her face, but they didn't spill out.
Even though she is at the bottom, she is the daughter of an aristocrat. She's ugly and she doesn't pretend to cry.

"I can only write, so I was writing a novel while praying for the happiness of the two of you. I had no intention of selling it."

I can barely hold back my sigh.
The novel's blockbuster was unexpected even for Miss Serena. She is fully aware of her own sins and repents. She has stolen her lover's time, as well as her disrespect for the royal family and her fiancée.
I couldn't criticize the pros and cons of the novel anymore.

"I understand the circumstances. Let me ask you one thing, Miss Ulysse has nothing to do with 'Otsusei', right?"
"No! It's really embarrassing, but the main character's appearance is modeled after me..."
"... I see, now that you mention it, it's true."

Miss Serena also has flowing indigo hair and eyes, and is a daughter of a viscount who is one rank higher than a baron, but is close to a lower noble family. But with her third year, her age, and her demeanor, no one would associate her with the protagonist of her novel. She never thought she was the one who wrote the novel.
I was told that no offense was intended. The circumstances of the house, and the intense regret.

“I am truly sorry for what I have done. No matter what kind of punishment I receive, it can’t be helped.
"Do you agree?"

Miss Serena looked at me with a dumbfounded face when I raised my voice because I was caught. Her tears fade away as she wisps down her membrane.
Is it wrong? The gaze that seems to say that hurts.
 It's just my unrequited love.

“His Highness the Crown Prince, you often see the daughter of the Duke of La Montrivre, don’t you?”

Did I look at Elizabeth too much? Harold also said that whenever Elizabeth was in the same space, she cast her gaze a hundred times. As expected of a writer, should I say that she is good at observing people?
However, in the real world, it wouldn't happen in the real world that Elizabeth is in love with me just because I like her.
In my melancholy mood, Miss Serena's desperate voice reached my ears.

“The daughter of the Duke of La Montlievre also often sees His Highness the Crown Prince.
"……Really?"
"It's true....If His Highness the Crown Prince has seen it a hundred times, Elizabeth-sama has seen it about fifteen times...but he looks at His Highness the Crown Prince with a compassionate gaze."

 acquitted.

I see, I'm 100 and Elizabeth is 15. It's good to have a sense of realistic numbers.
When she smiled, Miss Serena's face turned bright red and her lips trembled.

"Thank you for giving me important information. I will keep your novel in my heart."
"Fa, fa! Thank you..."

No, it seems that the royal power MAX smile was too stimulating for the viscount's daughter. It would be nice if it had a tenth of this effect on Elizabeth as well.
At any rate, I've found a reliable ally.
If it comes down to it, I can get Miss Serena to deny that Miss Ulysse is not the main character.
 But that's a last resort.

"Well, I'm looking forward to the continuation of my novel with Elizabeth."
"I'll do my best!!"

Miss Serena who holds her fist with both hands and takes a pose of "Fight".
I can't afford to bother her with anything else until I have her complete the "Impossible Story of Me and Elizabeth".
 I'll handle the troublesome things.
