MADISON'S POV
i made sure to wake up early but how much sleep can you get when your sleeping outside then o saw a cop walking over to me this cop had been trying to me for weeks but i was to fast but this time he was closer then all the other times but now i couldn't get away so i have to lie "young lady why are you out here at this time" i acted like i didn't know the time and looked at my phone and let out a small gasp "oh my i must have fall asleep i am so very sorry officer while I was studying for my exam oh my poor mother I have to get home" i flashed him a small smile then he nodded so a run to grey sloan memorial hospital because i was late for my first day when i walked in then locker room "are you lost little girl" now i was offended by that comment " i don't need you to talk down to me but i am surgical intern here" now that got him to shut up very fast then i go to my locker to change into my scrubs and the resident I have is Dr. Karev and i hear he is on peds a lot so i am excited to be questioned by the parents on how I'm supposed to do my job or if I'm old enough to be a doctor so yay me. once everyone when over to dr. Karev I was behind everyone "I think we are missing someone" and I knew it was me so I started jumping up and down yelling I'm here until everyone moved "how old are you kid" my least favorite question ever but I had to answer because he is my boss and teacher "im 13 sir but I'm just as capable as anyone else in this program so if you're thinking any less of me, remember I got into the same program as everyone else" he smiled then took me to the chief's office "please let her work a full time because I love this kid and I have the super genius as an intern" and I thought he was going to be mean as he got the kid bit the chief said no and we left to go back to the other interns and dr karev when over the rules then there was a trauma and I knew this was going to be a good day there was a kid in cement and lucky me and dr karev got in on the case and when everyone went it to talk about what to do dr karev told me to stay with andrew "so tell me about yourself i need something to focus on because i'm in cement" i gave andrew a sad smile "i'm 13 years old and my name is madison so now you can call me madison" he looked surprised by my age then he just smiled "maddie be honest with me am I gonna die?" he said as a tear rolled down his face "no way am i letting you think that and you are going to live a happy life then we heard the chief yelling at the residents and attendings that caused me and andrew to laugh a little then everyone walked back in and i moved out of the way and they started to explain to andrew what they were going to do then the people who where going to get him out come in "maddie i'm scared i'm really scared i don't think i can do it anymore!" so i made my way through all of the other doctors and was ready to give him a pep talk "andrew you have made it so far i can see the finish line if you want i can see if i stay with you" he nodded very quickly knowing we have work fast then i looked at the everyone else and everyone agreed

-before the last piece of cement is about to take off Andrew-
the chief walked in and said told I have to go home now I reach my hours because I'm just a kid bit when I looked outside it was raining so I stayed in the hospital lobby but I fall asleep

ALEX'S POV
after Andrew's surgery, I wanted to go home as I was walking out of the hospital I saw my favorite kid sleeping in the lobby so I will meet her out there I tipped her arm as she woke up "hey kid you should get home here I will take you there myself" she looked a little sad and scared then she spoke "I don't have a house can you take me to a park close to here" after she said covered her mouth so I picked her up and carried her to jo and we walked to the car once I put her in "who's kid was is that in our car" jo look at her and let out a big wide smile "she is one of my interns she told me she doesn't have a home and wants me to drop her off at a park but she is coming home with us" jo just smiled more and got in the car then I when to the driver's side
