AMELIA'S POV
I found out madison is off so she can sleep in because she got to sleep so late I was going to sleep in but I couldn't so I got up and made food for meredith,derek, and madison I think more of a sorry for bringing home a teenager a very good one by the way like what's the worst she could do then madison came down with blood on her wrist "oh god" she was crying and I got some paper towels and I ran up to meredith and derek "call 911 she is going to die to please" derek started to call and me and meredith ran to madison "it's okay you're okay I got you" she was crying then derek ran down to see what happen and he told them at it was a suicide a few minutes after there was a pounding on the door derek let them in and she was taken to the hospital "AMELIA WHAT HAPPENED" I don't know what happened all I know is that we need to go meet her at the hospital "derek I don't know but we have to go meet her she is just a kid" we all got in the car and went to the hospital. I ran to the ER "is madison grey here" I asked is intern "like the intern madison grey" I just nodded my head and I couldn't see her I had to sit down "amelia what happened to her" I was still thinking of that because I didn't know so I kept quiet.  an after minutes later all the interns and most residents but there were very few attendings so madison made a very good impression on people "I don't know why she did this she was always so happy" I overheard the interns talking "guys don't tell but I have been really shitty to her but I didn't know" was it his fault at madison tried to and then I saw a doctor come out and he was asking for the family of madison me and Meredith stood up and I made Derek stand up he told us that she is okay but they have to keep her here for 24 hours and we can see her. first me,derek,meredith and alex went back " she reminds me of you amelia when you where younger" that didn't make me feel better i wasn't the best kid but madison is different and be for i knew it we were at her room "hey madison are you ok" she looked scared but she nodded her head i looked at alex he looked sad for his young intern "maddie can i hug you?" i was really surprised because alex doesn't do hugs but she let him and she pulls him into her bed she has to be really strong for a little girl then the worst thing happened the hospital has contacted child protective services "so who is her parent or guardian" we all just looked at each other "i am her aunt her mother died so she is living with me" i was never so happy for meredith to be related to someone on my whole life "ok well can you fill out some paperwork?"  meredith nodded and she has to ask madison some of the questions like when is her birthday stuff like that "madison how would you like to live with us you would have your own room and we will give you a ride to work but you just have to talk to us" i wish derek why like that with me then i was young but i'm gald he is for

MADISON'S POV
did dr shepherd really invite me to live with them "um if you are 100% then yes" I am kind of excited and scared "ok then and you have a lot of people who want to see you so we will be back after them" then a group of interns came in at first they asked me how I was then we started talking about surgery and trauma and then came the two attendings I made a good impression on which I'm happy I make a good impression on someone and a nurse came in to move me? that wasn't fun it was scary and they are keeping me for 24 hours once we got up there they told me I didn't have to stay in my room the whole time so I was just walking when this boy walked up to me "hey you look like you need a friend" maybe having a friend wasn't so bad "I'm madison it's nice to meet you" he smiled at me "I'm jackson so what are you in here for" now he is either trying to see if I'm crazy or he is trying to get to know me "I tried to kill myself what about you" I found out he is in for the same thing as me so both of us are new but we have each other "so jackson how old are you"  he gave me a hug it felt nice and warm "I'm 14 and I hope you are close to my age" now I'm excited because he is only a year older then me "I'm 13 and as you see we are youngest people here so that makes us besties" he smiled then I got called to the front of the floor and I think stood there but jackson pulled me to see dr shepherd meredith and amelia "hey madison who is this?" i was going to say something "i'm jackson just being a friend to maddie  i will see you later maddie" dr shepherd waited until jackson was far away "so we are get your room ready for you and we found some of your mother's stuff and if you want you can look through it" we talked about other stuff and they stayed until 9;30 so after they left i just went to sleep
