Eri POV
"Parent-teacher interviews are tomorrow, and I'd really like to meet your parents. I'd like to talk about how you're going so far." Mr. Aizawa announced in the last five minutes of the school day.

Mild panic shot through my veins. Would he recognise dad and pa? I guess I can always make an excuse for them to not be here.

As I walked out of the school, I saw dad standing there, his hair freshly crimped and dyed. Pa and I stood taller than him, but he was still so bloody terrifying.

"Hello, bunny. How was school?" He asked, starting to walk with me. He was tired, still working the same four jobs from ten years ago, no matter how much we tried to convince him to drop one or two. He still refused.

"It was good. But there's a parent-teacher interview day tomorrow. Aizawa wants to meet you and pa." I told him, helping him walk as he was staggering from exhaustion.

"Oh, okay. I can meet him." He said as we made our way into a passage to our home. "He most likely won't recognise me." When he said that, I realised something.

"Uh, aren't you meant to be at work? Don't you finish at five?" I asked, sitting next to him on the couch.

He laughed a bit.

"A bit of an accident happened at work. We were sent home early because some idiot broke three window panes and it'll take ages to clean up." He answered, handing me a small, rectangular box. "Dabi and I got this for you."

When I opened it, I saw a brand new phone with a necklace beside it that looked a few decades old.

"Thank you! And what's this?" I picked up the necklace.

"It belonged to a woman named Nao Shimura. When she had her daughter, Hana, she passed it down to her. Then two years later, she had a little boy. Unfortunately, five years later, his family died. And I, as the boy, took the necklace as a memory. And now I'm passing it down to you as my eldest." He smiled sadly.

"Dad. What's going on?" I asked seriously. He looked stunned.

"Nothing, bunny. Well, it's no secret that my mental and physical health is not in the best state right now." He sighed. "I got attacked in the alley behind the club where I work last night. Your pa found a foot-sized bruise on my thigh this morning when I was getting ready for my nine to five. I didn't tell him what happened. I was worried that if something happened to me, I wouldn't be able to give you things that are sentimental. I want you to have this necklace." He confessed, closing my hand the charm.

A voice startled us.

"Oh my god, that's where you got that bruise from?!" Pa exclaimed, approaching us. Dad nodded, avoiding eye contact with both of us. Despite him being the most terrifying person I have ever met -besides Overhaul-, I think we've become much more protective of him. We hugged him tightly, to which he laughed a bit.

"Guys, I'm perfectly  fine. What time-"

"Quit your job at the club. Please, darling." Pa asked, twirling dad's hair. "I'm so concerned for you every time you go to work, and after everything you've gone through there, and your health is getting so terrible. Please just quit, lovey."

"Fine." Dad sighed. "I'll send in my two week notice tonight. I might actually get better sleep. Now, when are the PT interviews?"

"Tomorrow morning." I answered.

"Alright, we'll be there."

(Next day)
Aizawa POV

When Eri arrived with her parents, I noticed something strange. It were as if they were wearing very heavy makeup, and they just looked... weird.

It was when they spoke, I noticed something even more suspicious. However, I did recognise one of them. He was a curly, black, blue and white haired man who was shorter than the two other people he was with.

"Good morning, Mr Aizawa. I'm Eri's father, Tenko." The one I recognised shook my hand, giving an all-too familiar grin.

'Who are you really?' I wanted to ask, but I refrained.

"And I'm Touya, her other father." The other man shook my hand as well.

They were way too familiar for any coincidences, but where did I recognise them from? They sat down as I pulled out some papers.

"Nice to meet you two. Now, for Eri's performances."

We spoke for around half an hour, and when they left, something clicked.

"Dabi and Tomura Shigaraki!"

(Two weeks later [holidays] {8:30pm})
Shigaraki POV

Eri and Toga were having a girls night, Spinner and Twice were having a drinking contest, Kurogiri and Compress were talking and watching TV, all while Dabi and I were in our room, scrolling through social media, laying down. We were tired.

"Lovey, I thought you were meant to be at work." Dabi said, turning down the audio on his phone frantically as he clicked on a video. I smiled lightly.

"Remember when I sent in my two-week notice.?" He hummed in response. "Well, I officially quit my job at 12:01 am this morning as it was my last shift." I told him, not being able to keep the glee out of my voice. He turned off his phone, placed it to the side, and then wrapped his arms around me tightly, burying his face in my hair.

"Good... it breaks my heart whenever you're crying in the bathroom because of something someone had done to you to make you feel like I hate you. It shatters my heart to see you cry." He murmured, lifting the back of my shirt to touch my bare back. "Now, you might be able to get better sleep with thirteen hours out of work every day."

He leaned down, resting his forehead in between in my shoulder blades as I lay on my stomach, reaching over to place my hand on his hair. It was an awkward position for my arm, but meh. I can easily deal with it.

I placed my phone to the side, then went to roll over onto my back. He rested his chin on my chest, smiling at me. I smiled back at him, scratching his scalp.

"You seem very happy about it, lovely." I said, laughing heartily. "You may be more happy than me. Was people touching me without my consent really upsetting you?"

"Darling, of course it upset me. But it was the impact that they were putting on you, what they were doing and their lack of brains to listen to you is what's been upsetting me. But I'm upset for you, because every time I see you stressed out from it, I feel helpless because I can't be there with you." He sat up, sitting up on my stomach. "I really thought you wouldn't quit."

While he was sitting there, smiling at me, I could feel him activate his quirk ever so slightly to provide warmth. I closed my eyes as he started feeling my face, hair, neck and shoulders.

"Tired, darling?" He asked, getting off me. When I nodded, I felt him pull me into a warm embrace. "Go to sleep, lovey. I'll be holding you." He was so sincere as he stroked my hair to assist in falling asleep at an unusual time than what I'm used to.

I did go to sleep. I drifted off to sleep, finally embracing the Land of Dreams.

All Might POV
"Dabi and Tomura Shigaraki still have Eri!" Aizawa exclaimed. "We need to find them!"

I sighed, grabbed him by the shoulders, shaking him a bit to stop his shouting.

"Calm down. They don't seem to even be doing anything wrong as they send her to school, they have legal parental rights over here, and they've also been inactive villains for the past decade. Technically, they should be arrested due to their crimes from ten or so years ago." I answered. "I'm still out to find Tomura. Don't worry." I answered, then went to sit back down.

"Fine, but what about Eri?" Shouta asked, crossing his arms, a tired expression strewn across his face.

"Legally, we can't do anything due to the documentations, and there is no proof that she is in danger, but there's also no evidence saying they are who you say they are."

He nodded, huffed, and stormed out angrily.

What I didn't get to tell him is that I will investigate them.

Shimura is my mentor's last name, and Tomura Shigaraki is her grandson after all.
