Espresso leaned against the bus window as other passengers chatter about boys or what ever 18 year olds talked about. He picked up his phone to go to play any kind of music he could find
He probably had the oddest playlist ever " gay panic but make it aesthetic. " was one. He tried to unlock his phone but the sleeves on his hoodie where to long " this isn't even my hoodie- it's my ex boyfriend's. Meh idgf " he thought as he pulled them up.
The bus came to a stop picking up the last kid

A shorter boy sat next to him, blonde blue eyes. " Hi! What's your name? " he said as he placed his bags next to him.
" Espresso, yours? " he said still looking for the odd playlist he had saved. " Madeleine! " he said smiling. " I'm guessing you have water manipulation " he says looking at Espresso wide eyed.
Espresso snapped as a burst of small flames arose from his palms, rolling his eyes as he did it. " OOOO we have the same! Maybe we will have the same dorm! " Madeleine says. " yea, maybe. " Espresso sighed leaning back.
" that hoodie is quite big on you huh? " Madeleine says. " yea, it's my ex boyfriend's " he covered his mouth after he said that, " Your gay??? " Madeleine said titling his head. " Bi, " he corrected him. Madeleine rambled on, he hummed to the song he was playing. " I think we knew each other from the republic or maybe middle school? " Madeleine says. Espresso started to doze off leaning on Madeleine's shoulder. " are you sleeping? " he said shaking Espresso a bit. Espresso jolted awake, " Sorry, I have insomnia " he said rubbing his eyes. " what's that? " Madeleine asked, blushing. " it's a disorder, it's hard to fall or stay asleep " He said moving away from Madeleine.
" Oh, sorry about that. But do you like sleep often? " Madeleine said. " that's the first time I slept probably since two days ago " Espresso says pulling on his draw strings. " oh, I think it's like 30 minutes till we are there " Madeleine smiles. " ok the I'll try to go to sleep again "
Like maybe 15 minutes later
Espresso jolted awake again, realizing he was holding Madeleine's hand " AAAaA tHiS iS sO aWARDDdDd " he thought pulling away, waking Madeleine who had also been sleeping. " ALRIGHT KIDS TIME TO GET OFF " the bus driver yelled as the kids rushed off
