Both of you held hands as you made your way to the diner; Bruce had just won a baseball game and to celebrate you both went out to get milkshakes. When you got there Bruce held the door open for you, "ladies first!" He said with a grin. "Thank you, kind sir!" You joked back, walking through the door.
You sat yourselves at one of the booth as a waitress approached you both. "Here ya' go!" She said, handing you two the menu. "Thank you." You both told as she then walked away.
"Want to share a milkshake?" You asked. "Sure. What flavor?" He replied. "Hm, I don't know. You pick, I mean we are here to celebrate your win." You spoke. "Alright, how about vanilla?" He then questioned. "Sounds good to me!" You answered.
"Ready for me to take y'all's order?" The waitress asked, grabbing out her notepad and pen. "Yup!" You said, looking over at Bruce. "We'll have one vanilla milkshake, please." He told as the waitress wrote down the order. "And can we also get two straws, please?" You chimed. "You betcha'! Is that all?"
"Yes." You both replied at the same time, smiling at each other. "Well aren't you both just as cute as a button! I'll be back with your order shortly." She smiled and left the table as you both let out a laugh.
It wasn't too long till the waitress placed the milkshake on the table. "Alright, enjoy!" She said walking away once again. You both drank the milkshake, grinning at one another as you then continued to talk.
"You got whipped cream on your face." He then pointed out, chuckling. "Where?" You asked touching your face, trying to wipe away the whip cream. "Right here." He tried pointing to his own face.
"Here?" You questioned, still trying to wipe the whip cream off. "Here let me just-" He spoke, swiping the whip cream off your face with his thumb. "Thanks." You said, blushing at his action. "No problem." He smiled, as you both continued to enjoy your milkshake.
