Forever Yours (A Severus Snape Love Story)

Chapter 7 the date

Big night has arrived. I'm a little nervous. But I'm getting ready now. I couldn't decide whether or not I should dress up or go kind of casual. I went with dressing up. I put on my red spaghetti strap dress. I put on my sheer pantyhose and my red strappy high heels. I then proceeded to do my makeup. I decide to curl my hair so I get out my curling iron and my hair straightener. First I run my straightener through it. Then I proceeded to curl it. It makes it look kind of wavy not actually curly. I pull part of it back into a ponytail leaving the rest down. I finish by putting on some gold hoop earings and a gold necklace.

Snape and I had decided to meet at Hogsmeade that way none of the teachers or students if they happen to see us would say anything. So I head towards Hogsmeade. I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach. I don't know why I'm so nervous. I really do like Snape and if I'm not mistaken I believe he likes me too. I walk into Hogsmeade and I see Snape sitting there. I'm glad that I decided to dress up because he's dressed up too. This is the first time I've ever seen him in anything besides his teacher robes. I must say he cleans up quite nicely. We stare at each other for awhile then laugh nervously. We go to a pub and order some food and butterbeer. We start talking and I asked him point blank why is he so mean to the children? He tells me that despite what everyone thinks he's really not being mean. He says he's trying to prepare them for the battle that lies ahead. That the dementors and deatheaters won't care that they are children. He proceeds to say that they definitely will not go easy on them that's why he's so hard. He smiles and says that if it will make me happy he'll be just a little bit nicer. I smile and say yes that would make me much happier but I'd rather him be a lot nicer not just a little bit. Our food and butterbeers arrived and we proceed to eat. After we're done we decide to take a walk around Hogsmeade before heading back to school. All too soon our date must end and I begin to head back first. I know that in the next few minutes Snape will follow. I begin to worry that things might get just a little awkward between me and Snape in the classroom. I sincerely hope not. As I'm walking back I see Lucius glaring at me. I just smile and wave and keep on walking. I'm not going to let him get me down now. I am in a good mood and I'm going to show him just what he missed out on.
